Bruce was awesome when we went to pick out tile for our shower! Super helpful and knowledgeable and helped us find what we didn't even know we wanted! There was to be a 10 day wait for delivery of tile which was reasonable but definitely counting down the days. Delivery day came and there was no tile. I was super bummed. Bruces' attitude was off-putting as he just said well..thats the way it is, can't do anything about it. Wait or get a refund. We decided to wait as we already waited and it was the exact tile we wanted. Another 7 days, I called to get confirmation it was there. No, it is not. Bruces' attitude was even more flippant this time " won't be here until May, I'm guessing you don't want to wait, all I can do is say sorry and give you a refund". Umm, actually Bruce..we are a few days away from May. I've now waited 17 days. How about a response with a date its expected to be in? How about a little sincerity when speaking to a customer? Or how about options of something in stock that is very similar? This tile was considered because it was something that supposedly was in stock, which Bruce understood. I'm surprised they don't have a better relationship with their supplier to know if something is in stock or not...that it would take 18 days!? Bottom line..Hickerson kept my $500 deposit for 17 days, had no tile to actually sell me, and obviously no care if I remained...

Thankfully, Liz took the time to explain what really works on floors like mine (old, uneven, and rather icky under all the layers). She found the perfect product and her crew brought life back into my remodel. Almost 2 years later, it was time for carpet and, again, Liz and the crew to the rescue.
