Little People's Play Station — Local services in Livingston

My children have been going to this daycare for over an year now, and I must say that I don't have any complaints. Well just one... the teachers spoil my children... my kids LOVE going here everyday.

I am a single mom so I have to work and I don't have anyone else to watch my children and like most other people I was concerned about putting my (then 6 month old and 18 month olds) in daycare. I heard so many horror stories in the media so I became very skeptical about every place I looked at, until Little People's PlayStation. I went on the Louisiana Department of family services and researched my options and Little People's PlayStation was the ONLY one without any major violations. I looked around the center and found it to be a bright, clean, happy place for my children. My son was (key word WAS) the type of child that wouldn't go to anyone but me and a very select handful of family members....So you see my worry there about putting him in daycare. But it took him no time at all to go to his teacher... and now he runs around hugging all of the teachers there.

I am glad I made the right choice in placing my children here. ALL of the staff (the Owners, Director, and Teachers) are easy to talk too and are very knowledgeable about children and their needs. They know and understand that a child learns best by having a balance of "free" time and structured (age appropriate) learning time. They do art projects with the kids as well as sing songs, color, have pretend play. Not to mention that for holidays they give the kids parties and all during the month special treats (ie.. water day, pizza party day...ect.). BUT most of all the teachers show the children love. The ladies here truly love children...

As a lead teacher at this daycare I have witnessed all the wonderful benefits that come with being a caregiver, especially at this daycare, the smile on these kids faces light up when they see you in the mornings and that is the best thing a teacher can see, the daycare is the most orderly, welcoming and caring place I have been. We teachers love The children and love being with them every day it gives us a reason to smile throughout the day , the director penny navarre and boss Jo hano are the sweetest people you could possibly meet, they help us when we’re at our lowest, when we need something whether we are in daycare or not they are always there for us whether it’s a flat tire and they are a hour away, or if you needed someone to talk to they are always 1 call away. I have known penny and Jo for almost 1 and 1/2 years now and ever since they have been the sweetest people ever. Never once have a went without anything I’ve really needed, I highly recommend bringing your babies to our daycare we would love to have them and your baby is in safe...

The most loving, caring, understanding people you can leave your child with during the day and not have to worry about them. I was one of those moms that used in house care bc I was so scared of daycares. When I first spoke to mrs. Penny she made me feel comfortable and understood my schedule with my child. We ended up being able to putting my son in their care full time and I do not for one moment regret putting my son in LPPS ! The teachers and help they have working there are the best. Kayla being a absolute blessing, along with pre-K teacher brittney, and mrs. Rose who prepares meals and snacks.
