I normally donāt leave reviews, but my experience with Feldman Chevrolet has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Back in March, I ordered two brand-new trucksāa Tahoe and a 3500. At first, my salesman Jeff was responsive, but eventually stopped communicating, forcing us to reach out to a manager and request a new sales rep.
The 3500 finally arrived on June 20th, but it was missing all of the options I had ordered. We had to reorder the truck entirely. The Tahoe came in on July 9th, but upon inspection, there was a noticeable dent and scratch on the door. It was clear someone had already tried to cover it up with rubbing compound. When I pointed this out, I was told it was ājust adhesive from the protective film,ā which was simply untrue.
They attempted to repair the damage by repainting the door, but when we picked it up on July 23rd, the paint had dirt and hair in itāand there was now a dent in the fender. The following day, they tried to wet sand and polish the paint, but the result was worse. In sunlight, the finish looks terrible. I was then told āthere is nothing else we can do.ā
To make matters worse, just days before signing paperwork on the Tahoe, the reordered 3500 truck I had been waiting on since March finally arrived. Eric, one of the managers, was the one who placed the new order for meābut instead of holding it, he sold it out from under me before I ever had the chance to take delivery.
This entire process has been filled with miscommunication, poor service, damaged vehicles, and false assurances. After months of waiting, I was left with a Tahoe that looks repainted and mishandled, and no 3500 truck at all.
I am beyond frustrated with this dealership and cannot recommend Feldman Chevrolet to anyone.
Edit: Reply to your comment. Eric called me on August 28th and said the truck is in if you want to come look at it. I said I will look at it when we sign for the Tahoe. Jose then messaged me on August 29th and said ā Hello Marc. If you are no longer interested thatās OK. we have someone that wants to purchase it but we have of course been holding off till you have an opportunity to come see it. Hoping to hear and see you today. Thank youā
To which I responded āItās all good sell it to someone else if they want itā āThere is obviously no communication within that location. Eric called me yesterday and asked me about it.ā So yes, it was sold out from under me due to The lack of communication between employees.
Also, we never said the truck Repair was fine. We kept complaining about the spot on there and Eric and Jose said thereās nothing else that we can do about it beside we took a thousand off the price for it. Letās not talk about the false paperwork you guys made us sign saying there were only this many miles on the vehicle, When there was way more because you guys had to keep driving it to Novi to a body shop because you guys donāt even do the work in house. I could keep going on if you want to make it right fix the spot on the door the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReview for Feldman Chevrolet of Livonia - Service Center (Plymouth Rd.) My experience with the service department has been nothing short of horrible. I brought my vehicle in at the beginning of the year for a simple oil change and to address a rearview camera issue. I was told the part needed to fix the camera was out of stock and they'd call when it arrived. That call never came. Fast forward nearly six months, my A/C stops workingāon a car thatās not even a year old. I bring it in again and remind them that the rearview camera is still not working. Shortly after, I receive a call from service advisor, who not only tells me that the camera was supposedly fixed months ago (which was news to me), but goes on to argue with me about it. I had paperwork proving otherwise. This mistake was conveniently blamed on a previous advisor who had since been fired, which I was told was "deserved." What do you know? Suddenly, the camera is magically repaired within a week. So much for that "part being out of stock" for six months. But thatās just where the headache began. Over the next 6 weeks, I played endless games of phone tag. When I did get someone on the line, I was repeatedly told, āearly next weekā or ājust a few more days.ā Spoiler alert: those promises were never kept. Finally, after about five or six weeks, Iām informed they broke something in my dash and had to replace the entire thing. After 48 days, Iām told itās finally done and will be ready to pick up the next morning. I called around 12:30 PM to confirm and was told it was finished and just being detailed and theyād call me back when it was ready. No call came. By 4:30 PM, I decided to just show up. I walk into the service department and not only am I met with blank stares and annoyed attitudes, but when I tell them Iām here to pick up my car, Iām treated like an inconvenience. Eventually, "my service advisor"finishes a phone call and goes to get my car, only to tell me it was just about to be detailed. So...what was happening at 12:30 when I was told it was already being detailed? At this point, I didn't care and just wanted my car back, so I dealt with their trash left inside my car because I wanted to leave. To top it off, when I returned the loaner (which they acted like they didn't have any when I first asked for one and it was a nuisance that I was asking), the person at the loaner desk also had an attitude. I assume actually doing her job mustāve been the issue. So after 7 weeks without my car, being lied to, argued with, and treated like a burden, I'm done. My family has purchased 8 trucks and SUV's from Feldman Chevrolet of Livonia over the last 7 years or so and that ends now. We will not be returning for service or for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently purchased a vehicle from Feldman Chevy in Livonia and had the pleasure of working with Randy Hadid as my salesman. From start to finish, Randy provided exceptional service that exceeded all my expectations.
Randy truly made the difference in my car-buying experience. He was incredibly personable and patiently answered all my questions. What stood out the most was his genuine interest in finding the right car for me rather than just making a sale. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences and worked very hard to find exactly what I was looking for. I am new to this dealership and was randomly set up with Randy as my salesman. Iāve had some not-so-great experiences with other dealerships in the past, so it was truly comforting and appreciated to be so well taken care of, especially as a new customer with no loyalty to this dealer.
Throughout the negotiation and purchasing process, Randy was transparent and honest. There were no hidden fees or surprises, which I greatly appreciated. He made sure I understood all the terms and options available to me, ensuring I felt confident in my decision. Randy communicated with me primarily through text, which was my preferred method due to travel and sporadic cell connection. Despite this, we managed to text and have a few calls later on. Since the dealership was a bit of a drive for me, my first visit was the day I took home my car!! To make a sale and establish trust without meeting him face-to-face was remarkable.
After finalizing the purchase, Randy took the time to walk me through all the features of the vehicle and even offered some helpful tips for maintenance and care. His attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were evident throughout every interaction.
I would also like to give recognition to Matt Sayyae, the financial manager I worked with. He was extremely helpful in guiding me through all the paperwork and was very friendly. The dealership itself is also impressive ā clean, organized, and welcoming. I appreciated the comfortable environment and the professional atmosphere throughout.
Overall, my experience at Feldman with Randy was exceptional. I left not only satisfied with my purchase but also confident that I had made the right choice. If you're looking for a stress-free car-buying experience with a knowledgeable and trustworthy salesman, I highly recommend visiting Feldman Chevrolet in Livonia and asking for Randy. He's the best in the business!
I will definitely return to Feldman for any future automotive needs. Thank you, Randy, and thank you to the entire team for making this such a positive...
