I recently visited Pitaway in Livonia and had an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this was going to be something special. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

I decided to try their gyro Sandweech combo, and let me tell you, it exceeded all expectations! The gyro was made right in front of me by the talented "sandweech artiste," who skillfully crafted the most excellent pita. The flavors were out of this world, and the combination of tender meat, fresh vegetables, and flavorful sauces was simply divine.

I also ordered the fattoush salad, and it was a refreshing delight. The salad was packed with fresh ingredients and was plentiful. I highly recommend asking for a couple of shakes of sumach on it - it adds an extra layer of flavor that elevates the dish to new heights.

Absolutely fantastic. First time customer. Ordered for lunch via grub hub. I got The Detroit, a kids bowl and a cheesecake. I was a little sad because i thought they forgot to put the garlic sauce on my pita but honestly, the tomatoes and meat were so juicy that it was still delish. (It turns out, although the listing says "garlic" it does not mean garlic sauce, so they were right for not adding it. I was wrong for misunderstanding) The kids bowl is a great item! I got gyro meat, feta, garlic sauce, hummus, tomato, pickles, onion. It comes with rice. I'm pretty sure this is going to be one of my new regular lunch orders. It was so different yet so good and sure as heck is a lot healthier than traditional fast food! The flavors were outstanding. In my opinion, if you were to order it with some pitas on the side, the kids bowl is enough food for a light adult lunch. The cheesecake was slightly frozen which would have been totally fine except for me being so excited to try it that i couldn't wait 20 mins for it to thaw!
