Food was decent. Customer service was horrible. Waitress was snarky and rude when asked certain questions, first one being if they had any kids menu and crayons and she looked at me as if I was stupid for even asking. Restaurant was also empty, we were one of two families in there at the time and waitress couldn’t come to check on us once, had to ask another waitress to grab her so she could refill our drinks which was towards the end of our meal. Also had an attitude when I asked if any sides came with the kids meal and she replied “no kids don’t get any sides like that” again in a very snarky tone and acted as if that was the dumbest question she’s heard all day. When cashing out with who I would assume is a manager there, I asked her if she had any plastic bags to carry our to go boxes in and she took a big sigh and said “yeah…. But I have to go to the back to get that. “ it was apparent that was too demanding of a task to ask so I just said never mind and then she of course said “oh it’s no big deal at all” but definitely made it seem like a big deal. Also, when you walk inside there is a gumball/candy machine and you can tell that it’s super old and stale and hasn’t been changed out in honestly years. Kinda gross to look at. Get takeout but save yourself the time of going in to sit down. Not worth it. Again food was decent but not worth all the up charges they have for basic things. I would drop the waitresses name but she didn’t even...
Read moreThis used to be one of my favorite restaurants -We visited at least 1-2 times a week- a bit before Covid, I think a new owner came in and it hasn’t been quite the same- They use to have some great daily homemade specials- The food was always fresh and flavorful-
Service was flat and slow ( there were only 3 other tables being served), after 1 pm- It took quite awhile for our food to come out-
I ordered the gyro/ spinach pie combo- my Gyro was so lacking in comparison to the other three gyros ordered- It was noticeable that mine had hardly any gyro meat- you could barely hold theirs together with the toothpick- and mine was folded over and had excess pita bread- 🧐 I asked the waitress if there would be a reason mine would be smaller and she shrugged her shoulders and didn’t respond- The spinach pie was delicious - but everything was lukewarm-the portions of the combo definitely didn’t warrant $12 - post Covid the pricing of food is so odd. One of my friends ordered an entrée which was $12 but it came with a side salad, entree, rice, veggie for the same price as my weak gyro and small piece of spinach pie- 😁
Those who had a hefty gyros, said they were delicious- The meat was lukewarm- The baby Greek salads were very good and nice portions- The onion rings were over fried- burnt- heavy old...
Read moreI called to order 2 steak salads I saw on the website. The woman who took my order indicated the website do not have it but would make me one if that is what I wanted. The server kept asking what I wanted on the salad and I repeatedly asked for what was advertised on their website. I requested the steak be cooked med well. However upon getting home I had a well done dry steak with one slice of tomato cut in half and 2 cucumbers one with feta cheese and one without. When I called back she said she would put my name in a book for a credit. Since I was picking food up for me and my elderly mother when she saw the dry steak and lack luster salad she called to complain. They said they would replace the steak with medium well and we could pick up more salad fixing. OF COURSE, when I returned to the restaurant they did not accommodate with edible steak and the gentleman at the front was upset I checked the bag. Upon getting home and trying to eat, the salad dressing was watery, steak was tough, olives and pepperchni were old and had a sour taste. So that was a wasted $31. I will never be back nor will I ever refer a friend. The absolute worse experience with food and...
