This is a great facility. I grew up showing at fairs, and this is nice fair ground. They keep it clean, and the stream running thru it really is cool. I wish the animal barns were laid out better so as to see the animals the kids have worked so hard to raise. They have their gear set up in front of the pins (not the kids fault) so you can see very well and if you have a hard tone getting around and use a wheelchair or scooter good luck. I wish the fair board would give that more consideration. For such an agricultural oriented county, I was surprised this was not more of a focus. There didn't seem to be much encouragement to make their pens nice for display to the public. That was disappointing The fair grounds themselves, though, are quite nice with plenty of shade. I wish I could give it 5 stars, but there really needs to be done improvement on the animal...
Read moreMy Brother & Wife accompanied me to Night Ranger at the Cache Country Fairgrounds. It just so happened that said Rock-n-Roll concert coincided with the Cruisin' Car Show which made the evening that more festive. The Cache Country Fairgrounds is a beautiful area with lots of trees, grass and a stream running through the middle. Like most fairgrounds, the structures at Cache County's are older but not dilapidated. In fact, just a few months ago, the county tore down an exhibit building and began work on a new one. The Cache Country Fairgrounds is a fantastic place to take the family, regardless of the event. The concert we attended was held in the rodeo arena and the show was fantastic. I was thoroughly impressed that that I wasn't caked in dirt at night's end considering the rodeo arena is fashioned from one...
Read moreWent there for the annual PRCA rodeo. A typical fairgrounds, with standard county fair displays which were as wonderful as most. We enjoyed the displays and local art. However the vendors were extremely overpriced ( t- shirts $30.00). It was a great experience until the rodeo. We had excellent reserved seats, but the bleachers are the worst we have ever seen in all the rodeos we've been at. They are extremely, extremely small!! There is absolutely no room for anyone over 5'5 (we are tall and it seemed our knees were in our chest). Overall the rodeo was good, but with the talent that was there, the show was mediocre ( too much time spent on non-PRCA events such as break away roping) and too long. Perhaps because it was televised. Basically the seats were just narrow metal bleachers, expensive and...
