I am not one to usually leave a bad review. But in this case, this is because of the safety my children. I and my children were treated very poorly when we went to a private event, the lady at the gate through me under the bus praising a mom behind me for them having the diaper cover and that I didn't for 2 out of four of my children (at the time I was unaware of the State Law). Then when we were swimming, we were in the water for maybe 25 minutes, a life guard went up to son ( 2 and a half) and treated him like he was 6 years old! When I asked what was wrong, apparently it's a policy that we can't have floatys that don't have leg holes in the pool because of kids let go they would be liable for the kid drowning. Now, my four year old who is autistic and doesn't understand, I had to pry her fingers and my sons from their floatys while they were screaming crying at me, I had to tell my four year old 5 times with her screaming at me each time why we couldn't have the floatys. Granite, this is in the kiddy pool and I was right there with my damn son and my four year old thankfully can stand, but that was like a security blanket to her in the water. They never made it aware that they had life jackets I could use instead (found out today looking up their policy), and the ironic part of this, I had me and my four kids by myself, had my 7 month old with me and my son, I looked away for a split second to make sure my other kids were safe, when I looked back my son was gasping for air trying to keep his head up cause he stepped two steps to far forward! NON OF THIS WOULD'VE HAPPENED IF HE HAD HIS FLOATY!! Oh and to top this off. The life Guards weren't even paying attention to the kiddy pool! This happened twice! Because I had to no choice take my eyes off of him for a split second to make sure my other kids were safe! Oh and the last part, there is no freaking rule or it being mentioned in there was policy about the floatys! I'm writing this because it's bullshit that I got treated this way. A mother who wanted her kids to have a fun time swimming who can barely afford to take them to things like this as is, and yet ended up being a bad experience. I hope management sees this, train your employees better!! Train them to respect ALL customers who come. WRITE THE DAMN POLICY BETTER!!! I would like some compensation for the awful experience I got. Because here's the thing, if I wasn't there to watch my son and I had to go grab one of my other kids. Because of the lack of training or professionalism of the life guards, my son could've drowned!...

My girls (8, 6, 3, 19months) aren't confident swimmers yet and love the shallow pool. They find the mushroom a blast to run under. They also enjoy that the shallow side always runs a little warmer than the deeper pool.
My husband loves going to the deep side & swimming. Two of my girls (3 & 6) get a kick out of jumping into the "big kid" pool.
The slides are great as well. My oldest girls love going down the twisty slide. As stated, they arent confident swimmers yet & are grateful there are lifeguards to catch them at the bottom. Just make sure you let them know you need someone to catch you. If you have younger ones that are afraid to go on their own, like my 3 year old, then you can go double.
My husband loves the drop slide. If you want a little rush that's the one for you.
There is plenty of grass to stretch out on. I've never felt like there wasn't room to sit & relax. Also there are plenty of people that bring sun tents and umbrellas if you want relief from the sun. There are a good amount supplied by the company but they go fast & there are...
Read moreThis review is for constructive criticism. When paying for entrance, I walked up to an open window with an “open window” sign and, after not hearing anything from the employee for several seconds, began asking for what I needed. After finishing my request, there was just silence and staring at me, then the employee asked me to go to the next window, as she was busy at the moment. Of course, I understand when an employee is busy. However, any good employee I have ever had experience with has either 1. Quickly helped me (if possible), understanding that I didn’t know they were busy, then got back to their task. Or 2. Politely told me they were currently indisposed, and did so THE MOMENT I walked up to them. Another option is to put up the “closed window” sign, so that no one walks up. My experience was not polite, rather, I felt like I was an irritation to the employee. It is difficult to see and hear the employees through the low window, so please make sure you are speaking loudly and even coming up close to it so that we can hear you tell us, the moment we walk up, that you are busy. Please do so in a polite way, as that is the service that I think anyone expects from any establishment. Thanks for an otherwise great experience every time...
