Mr Steer Meats — Local services in Londonderry

We have been loyal customers for over 20 years. We love the steakhouse tips even though they have gone up to $12.99 a lb over the years. We ordered 10 lbs for Fathers Day recently for a.cookout. I cooked 5 lbs that day and froze the rest. Everyone complained about how tough they were and how they seemed off. I called and was told I could return the unused portion. When we arrived, the owner was clearly upset that we were returning product and stated no less than 3 times out loud how we were the ONLY customers to return and complain and that it was his biggest grossing day by far and he had sold $120K in product that day. He said he was personally going to cook our returned steak tips that night. They did make it right and gave us a fresh batch of steak tips and I could tell when I got home that they were much better quality than what we had received that day. I am very disappointed in how we were treated after many years. I, nor any of my family, will ever buy another product from his store again. He may be crowned "businessman of the year" but, he has a LOT to learn about...

Pretty disappointed that I called ahead around 5:30pm and asked what time the deli made sandwiches till and was told 6:30pm so I got in my car and drove down from the far end of a Manchester and arrived at 6:04pm. I went right in and the whole deli had been broken down already and they were cleaning the last meat cutting machine and told me next time please be here earlier because they like to close earlier than the whole store apparently? The person said they would still make it, but I am not going to make anyone mess up what they just cleaned. I just wish I was told when I called that they close the deli at 6 and not 6:30- I wouldn’t have drove there at all because it was cutting it too close. So I guess I just did a 45 minute drive for absolutely nothing, unless I wanted to be “that jerk” that made them bring everything back out… which I am definitely NOT that kind of person. Please communicate with coworkers on the correct time everything should be open till and when its acceptable to break down so maybe people don’t waste...

Love this place and the women in the deli, except the young lady with the long black hair that works there. She is the rudest person that I have EVER met!! Never have I seen anyone so addicted to a phone that she literally ignores customers. She makes you feel like you’re totally interrupting her phone time to be helped. She is abrupt and arrogant asking what you want and then throws your order at you. She is totally unprofessional in her demeanor, I have also seen her lay her leg on the counter where the hot food is, again while playing on her phone. These other ladies always serve with a smile and make you feel appreciated. Now that I know what hours this obnoxious girl works, I will never go in there again on her shift. I cannot believe the owner allows her to work in his establishment treating customers the way she does, as well as her coworkers. It’s pretty sad how her coworkers apologize for her behavior.
