United States Postal Service — Local services in Long Beach

Placed my MAIL on hold for a month at the Market St location on February 5th I had to leave to take care of my MOTHER who also passed during time. I returned before my expired date in March which was the beginning of the month I was advised to call the Annex so my mail could be brought over for pickup the next day on Market. So since I was going to be moving I did a change of address and open a PO Box while I was there... I returned the next day to pick up my mail and nothing had been brought over this sent me over, it was a bad place in Life for me because I had just lost my Mom l was looking for a few checks and my normal bills for the month?? When calling the Annex back All I received from the Annex Supervisors Araphuis and Robert were rudeness and very bad attitudes and no concerns for my lost mail or my Mother's loss and Robert who is rude and has a very smart mouth and no Customer Service skills who works the front window at the Market location I guess he could also be a supervisor who also lack the love for his job! I drove the city found my mail carrier who still had some of my mail but was it was bar coded to RTS? So instead of my Mail being HELD someone of the Post Office one their Employees dropped the ball it starts from the front desk when filling out the Request form to Hold my MAIL but instead my MAIL was RTS I have proof because a few of my creditor sent me the date stamp envelope s with the RTS yellow barcode still on the envelope. Yes I've filled a former complaint. Welp I went in this past Saturday and still I have an empty PO Box?? Smh just...

If I could give this post office a 0 star rating I would! Sent an overnight package from Michigan. Recipient stayed home all day to receive the package and sign for it. At 9:15 a.m it was out for delivery. NEVER ATTEMPTED TO DELIVER! Postal worker from this post office decides it's time to go home and scans in an update stating that he tried to deliver at 1:00 PM and couldn't get access for delivery....interesting....residential home with mailbox at end of driveway! So, postal worker just outright lied and scanned this to avoid post office having to reimburse sender the $30 it cost to overnight. I called this post office non stop to try and find out where this envelope full of important documents is and they never answered. Filed a complaint online and got an email. This email had a phone number so contacted this person and she was of no help. Finally, I told the recipient to just go to his own post office and see if it's there and it was so he received two days after it was to be delivered. Should point out that tracking information stated no need for further action but we took it upon ourselves to take action. I am actually surprised this N Long Beach post office has a rating of...

Today I went to this post office because I was informed by the holy gracious Bixby knoll office that they handle my area code. Upon my arrival I parked in the back… how convenient for a us post office not to have any camera on their area. Upon my arrival I was answered by the front window clerk, I asked her where my mail was at. She didn’t even bother looking up the system or anything. I even asked about my recent mail delivery from the Lakewood post office/delivery in south street but no answer. When asked to see the supervisor I was informed that he just left. Dressed in civilian cloth and just left right in front of me. Word is that many mails were dump on the streets for the homeless to acquire, I noticed some mail trash and other mails around the area where the homeless resides. No answers other than to give another mail post a call. It’s no wonder people around the area and me have yet to receive any mail let alone important ones.
