The Stone Gallery Inc. — Local services in Long Branch

Terrible experience with the stone gallery, particularly with Anthony the owner. Waited 2 weeks before writing a review to see if I would get any response from him on an email that I wrote but I did not which just further proves that he could care less about his customers or standing behind the products that he chooses to sell.

I was a repeat customer at stone gallery, this time around to purchase some stone for the exterior or my home. I was told on 4 separate occasions that my stone had shipped from Turkey, promised it had shipped and it would be arriving in 3 weeks, only to find out over and over it had never shipped. I had asked for container numbers or some proof that it was on the way but was told it couldn’t be provided but promised it was on its way. 4 such instances and almost 4 months later I finally received my stone. The problems this has caused me are a totally separate issue.

Ultimately I would have accepted the delays and other issues that I had with my order. What I was not ok with was Anthony’s total lack of concern during this whole process. I was told he would call me, he did not. Not only did he not get on the phone and call me during this whole mess, he passed me along to his supplier, he I guess did want to deal with the problem. When I wrote him an email 2 weeks ago explaining my frustrations I never even received a response. I am a business owner and would never treat a customer in such a way.

When I did receive the stone there appeared to be some quality issues with it. I sent some photos to Anthony again never got a response. Only time I heard from him was when he was looking for his deposit and then he disappeared. Seems he cares about the sale and nothing else, terrible customer service, will never go there again. I highly recommend The Stone Gallery. The staff led by Anthony and complimented by Chrissy and Nick are top notch. They are attentive and professional. They paid attention to every detail and I experienced fabulous results. I changed a formica counter to Fantasy Brown Quartzite. I was able to visit Anthony's shop up North and pick the slab myself. It came out beautiful! The installers did a great job of saving the tile on my backsplash which saved me a lot of money. I am one satisfied customer. Mr Anthony Rescigno is very knowledgeable in selecting the stone. He was also very patient, I never felt being pushed or uncomfortable. It wasn’t easy to find the stone from so many options but he did. He also quickly secured the slabs that are in high demand. The kitchen countertops including island looked so beautiful. I truly appreciated his knowledge and professionalism. It was a pleasant working experience with him, highly recommended....
