We chose Sarah to renovate our home on beautiful Lake Minnetonka because she has deep Wayzata roots with coast-to-coast flair. Sarah is both transparent and genuine and, as a result…..she is very easy to communicate and collaborate with on our interior designs. Our project included a complete kitchen transformation and new furniture and accessory designs in every room of the house. Many friends and family compliment us on our home the moment they enter our front door. One of our favorite rooms is my husband’s home office. From sitting behind the custom wood desk working day-to-day to spending nights by the fireplace on our cozy leather couch watching movies, the warm and relaxed feel that Sarah helped create for us is exactly what we requested. Our latest fun project with Sarah is creating a large collage of framed historical photos on our rec room vaulted wall featuring the people and boats and trains that made Wayzata great. After Sarah and her team did such an amazing job with the design and interior of our first custom home project, we trusted her to handle a very special undertaking. Designing and selecting the finishes of a new home on the site of my childhood home. Everything Sarah chose for us is perfect, from the bathroom and kitchen tiles to the unique custom fireplace surround. Going above and beyond, Sarah helped design two custom tables made from a massive dying oak tree in our yard where my grandfather had hung a tire swing when I was a kid. We spend much of our time now on our three-season back porch, enjoying a peaceful 180-degree lakeview. Sarah is so much fun to work with. We first engaged Sarah (and Randolph Interior Design) for a small furniture design project. After our first project, we knew we were working with someone special. Fast forward 9 years and RID has helped us with: room repainting, furniture re-upholstery, 2 bathroom refreshes, a bathroom remodel, a kitchen and mudroom renovation and a laundry/pantry home addition. Sarah comes to every meeting ready to listen to our thoughts, desires and needs.
