Bucks Pub — Restaurant in Long Lake

Loved the atmosphere my first time there (sat at the bar), however, tonight was terrible. Took over twenty minutes to get a glass of wine with the excuse that the “bar is backed up”, but when I walked myself up to the bar I was served right away. The food was wonderful 🥰 The noise was horrid! We couldn’t have a conversation at our table. When we noted it to owner they assured us that sound panels are going to be installed Monday. We hope this place makes it because it could be a gem. Need to work out these kinks asap to do so.

Hooray! I revisited Bucks (and did not cash in on the free glass of wine offered... albeit a very kind gesture on the part of the owner) and the sound is much better! Four of us purposely did not sit at the bar (always great service there) to see if we could get better attention from the wait staff at a table and... We DID!

I hate to do this but I want the owner to know.

We are fans of Buck’s. Really want it to succeed.

Our most recent visit for dinner was close enough to bad that I almost wanted to dispute the bill. The service was bad. Drinks ordered and not delivered. Had to ask for water. Party of six. Three dinner orders came out which were wrong in some aspect - incomplete, not the side that was ordered. The other three dinner orders just didn’t show up. After several minutes we had to ask. After more minutes ask again. They start to come out piecemeal again. I really hope this was a one-off experience because it sure was...

Bucks Pub is a gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by friendly, welcoming staff and an inviting atmosphere. The owners truly care about creating a fantastic experience, and it shows in everything from the top-notch service to the delicious food.
