I have shopped and supported Herb’s for 7 years now! Herb was a local alternative doctor sensation and knew how to help all of his customers. He was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Now that he has passed on. His family is upholding his local legacy in Hickory. The store is the best it’s ever looked. Shannon and Julia rock out the store, the inventory and the customer service! Firstly I would like to state the 2 stars has absolutely nothing to do with the store or the products. I’m disappointed in how I was treated but will continue to shop here unless it becomes a frequent issue. I spent almost $100 that day & a minimum of $50 each visit I’ve made. This 3rd visit the lady snatched items out of my hands and placed them on the counter “to hold for me” which is fine but she could’ve asked instead of removing them from my person. Once upon a time thourghly enjoyed shopping at this health food store. Dr.Herb was the best and no matter how busy he was he would take time his time to answer you and direct you and educate you on your problem. And offer a solution to fix it. But you no longer have that experience when you go there. The staff acts like they don't have time for you and act as if you're bothering them if you have a question about a product. The staff at Health Hut natural store still offers that one on one hospitality. And they don't follow you around spying on you like...
