EDIT to add after my issue being brought to attention to the DM: He reached out and I expressed my main concern/issue being regarding the store manager essentially harassing me over the auto pay. He was zero help and is 100% not customer focused. He cuts me off multiple times, tells me he reviewed my screen shots posted here and said he did not see anything of where Kim told me they would pick my items up if I did not set up auto pay (lol it’s the first screenshot and was said multiple times) his demeanor was pretty rude throughout our conversation, continued to make excuses for Kim, and then cuts me off to seriously go into detail of the pros and cons of auto pay and why they suggest customers to have it and ask me “so is there a reason you don’t want to be set up on auto pay?” As if he is trying to sell me on it to seriously ask me about getting signed up on it again. I reiterated I do not wish to be on auto pay, and just flat out had to plainly ask “will my items be scheduled for pick up if I do not sign up on auto pay?” He says no they will not. I said okay great that’s all I needed to know and he said ok I hope you have a great day. Terrible representatives of RAC. I’ve had nothing but issues with RAC since I started my agreement. Late delivery, rude employees, failing to inform customers on what does and does not come with the product, denying their delivery driver/installer made any damages to my property, Fraudulent misrepresentation which is 100% illegal for a company to do.
Absolutely the WORST customer service at this store. I set up an agreement online on a Wednesday, it said my washer and dryer would be delivered within 1-3 days. I found a different set I was interested in & contacted the store two days later to see about a swap. I was never reached out to by the store after setting my agreement up. I ended up staying with what I originally set up. Anywho, the w&d I ordered ended up being at a different store they said I would get it Saturday. It ends up finally being delivered Tuesday, nearly a week later. So my first week I paid for product I didn’t even have. It was an hour after my delivery window, the guy at the store didn’t update my address so the delivery guy went to the wrong address, he finally gets here. He scratched the paint off my back porch in multiple spots, scratched my molding on my floor and the dryer has a scratch on the lint trap. He connected the cold water hose to the hot water tap. Did not connect the other hose to the other tap. He said there was some sort of silicone that I needed to scratch off in order for that hose to properly be connected. Since he switched the hoses this in turn made my first load of laundry become stained. I wasn’t informed until delivery that the dryer vent hose wasn’t provided. After set up they essentially force you to take a survey to give them a good review. I was harassed multiple times by Kim and other employees to set up auto pay. I was told that they would not allow me to continue renting the washer and dryer if I did not set up auto pay. I asked Kim to let me know in the contract that myself and RAC both agreed upon where it states that it is required and she only wanted to argue about how many times she verbally told me it was required. I called the store to update my phone number after this review and the guy in the store put me on hold after I told him my name and transferred me to her! She confirms my new information and starts in on me AGAIN about this autopay. Explaining the benefits, how it works, that it is a requirement, that they will pick my product up if I don’t enroll, asking if I’ve read my contract etc. This goes fully against the terms and conditions listed on RAC site regarding auto pay stating that it is an optional feature. The customer service is absolutely terrible at this store. They only care about getting you into an agreement to make their numbers and setting you up on auto pay. Read moreI am sadly disappointed with my end result with this store. Our initial meeting went very well we found the item we wanted we filled out paperwork work paid and scheduled for it to be delivered on a Monday between 6 and 7 pm. From what we saw and the people we put down as references no one even tried to call any of the references on Saturday to verify anything .. Now I would honestly thing if you are going to schedule delivery and take a pay.e t that maybe you should also don't he references at that time as well... Long story short they waited till an hour before they were supposed to deliver my dryer to call references and since they could not get everyone he asked could he bring Tuesday . I was not happy at all with the situation but we agreed on Tuesday at 1 .. short story that time came and went and then they call after 2 asking could they still deliver . The post sale interactions totally turned me from getting anything and. I declined to to even continue with the rental agreement .. I will be returning tomorrow to get my money refunded as well...

Read moreMy wife and i recently moved to the hickory area and we were in need of some furniture. We stopped by this RAC location to get a recliner and bed for a short period of time. I recently had back surgery so i need to be in a reclined position but we were unable to afford the recliner and bed cost. We decided that we would just get the bed for the time being until we complete our move. The next day we received our bed, to my pleasant surprise they sent us a motorized bed frame that adjusts from laying flat to a sitting upright position. I was speachless. This level of attention, customer care and consideration for our needs along with the willingness to exceed our expectation is something my wife and i have not seen from any business for years now. We are so grateful and appreciative for the customer service we received from Mike and the manager on duty. I cant recall her name. Not to mention the level of professionalism that extended to our delivery experience. Dustin and Matt were really kind and accommodating. I have to say that management must be doing a great job in team development because our experience with this RAC location humbled us. Thank you for making us feel welcomed!
