We hired Jen with Harvest to Home to be our personal chef for what was suppose so be a personal elopement that had turned into a full 3 ring circus wedding! We booked a year and a half in advance with the referral from our photographer who had also used Jen for her wedding, and I am truthfully going to struggle to do justice for how amazing Jen was to us! From the very first consultation to her saying goodbye at the end of the night she remained personable, professional, and passionate about her job and more importantly achieving our vision for our dinner! She was with us for every step of the way including and not limited to head count, menu, and location, changes! She remained patient with every hoop and crossed all her T’s and dotted I’s when we were faced with red tape. She constantly communicated clearly and consistently and never made us feel as though we were asking, bugging, or becoming annoying! Brides especially, you will be made to feel as though you are becoming annoying, and I NEVER felt this way with Jen, EVER. All our conversations, consultations, emails, phone calls, and texts were as if I were speaking to a colleague working to achieve the best results for our project! As if she couldn’t get any better, we asked Jen for a referral for a baker, and she pointed us to an amazing bakery! We were then faced with a transportation issue for the cake and Jen happily stepped up and handled the cake for us as well! The day of our wedding Jen showed up early with her team and immediately began working. The cocktail hour display and our breakfast for dinner was beautiful and delicious! All our wedding guests couldn’t stop raving about how they had never had such a refreshing wedding dinner! Words cannot express how thoughtful, personable and wonderful Chef Jenn is. My husband and I worked with Jenn for our microwedding in Breckenridge. We reached out to multiple chefs and catering companies and Jenn was by far the most responsive and her style was unique to us as a couple. She created a delicious menu based on my dietary preferences and worked with us directly to curate the perfect menu. The menu turned out to be entirely dairy-free and our guests didn’t even notice because the food was so delicious without it. I loved how many options Jenn had for me. From our menu, it was clear that Jenn spent her valuable time curating the food and ensuring it fit our vision for our wedding. Before our wedding, we even had a tasting with Jenn at our apartment to try all her delicious creations and provide any feedback (we had little to none because it was all so good!).

On our wedding day, Jenn and her team arrived early, got right to work and delivered not only delicious, but beautiful cuisine. Jenn went above and beyond to make our day special and did much more than simply ensure our food was top-notch. She also was able to pivot when my husband and I had to add a sweetheart table at the very last minute. All our guests said Jenn’s food was the best “wedding food” they’d ever had. It also meant a lot to my husband and I that it was all local to Colorado, too! On top of the food itself, Jenn is a kind-hearted and caring person. Chef Jen was a breath of fresh air in the wedding planning process. She made everything so simple, easy and not to mention, DELICIOUS! I planned my wedding in rural southwest Colorado from Atlanta, Georgia having never been to the area before. Needless to say, I was having trouble finding a caterer that would serve the area, let alone prepare brunch for 10 at a campground. Enter Harvest to Home and the AMAZING chef Jen! She was with me every step of the way, from planning a customized menu, figuring out all of the logistics a catered campground brunch entails, she even drove over 200 miles from Longmont to get to the location! Not only did Jen prepare an incredible brunch for my now husband and I and our guests after our elopement ceremony, she went the extra mile to make sure everything was set up to feel like a true mini wedding reception when we arrived! She set up a full tablescape complete with florals, linens and beautiful place settings, it was more than I ever expected and I am still so thankful for all of it.
