Centennial Lanes — Local services in Longmont

Good morning, just wanted to drop in, Not a good bowling alley. I booked 2 lanes for 2hrs, we were charged $120 after getting there at around 9pm, about 930pm a friends wife was charged an addition $70 for an hour more... (We weren't there for 2 yet) When I went and talked to the guy at the register, I explained to him what was agreed over the phone when booking the 2 lanes for 2hrs.. he then shrugs his old liver spotted shoulders and says "well she already paid..." We were having a birthday party and they saw this as a chance to take more from ppl... We legally had a verbal contract, that they broke after agreeing to the terms they had set for the attendance of their establishment. At no point before it was paid for there were no changing of price or terms of conditions. They broke the verbal agreement for that night and refused to refund the money they took illegally... I'm just saying if your reading this trying to find out if this is a good place to take your family, answer is NO... Establishments that do business this way don't deserve the public's attention... Hope all is well in the world once this evil source is removed by all means and acts of their own accord. Oh I forgot to mention then the men's room has no dividers for the urinals... Where is the privacy for our young males that go in there...? Kinda weird, why would a place have something like this where kids specifically young males would have to be exposed to men? I'm not sure about y'all but this makes me a little nervous for our youth... (He looks like a "red shoe club" type of...

This place is a joke and probably won't be getting any more of my patronage after years of coming here. The front desk staff recently started turning tons of costumers away because they are 'overloaded with reservations'. I don't know if this is because the staff is too old to have the place packed and keep up with the customers so they keep guests minimized. Or if it is in fact they are taking reservations without deposit and then people don't show. But my family (and I witnessed dozens of others) keeps getting turned away because of supposed reservations.

Last night was the 5th or 6th time it has happened. We were told right when we got there that we were only allowed to bowl for 45 minutes and then we had to get off our lane for an inbound reservation after us. Mind you, only about 30-40% of the lanes were being used, yes more than half of them were open! So we did what we were asked, cleared or lane, and took the kids to the arcade after our 1 game of bowling. We played video games for the better part of an hour. The whole time we were there, our lane stayed vacant along with more than half of the entire place. Why would they turn down a paying customer as we would have continued to play and order drinks AKA spend more money?

This place is defunct and in need of new management or ownership. Unless they are using it to launder money, I have no idea why they are literally turning away business. The word is getting around with the Longmont locals that if you want to go bowling, it's worth the drive to...

My family and I come here every Sunday for the open bowling, and for the most part we have a good time. This place is not gimmicky, they obviously care and respect the sport. We came in today and bowled a few games before a large family came in and got placed the lanes right next to us. They were obviously drunk, and it completely ruined our experience. These drunks were extremely rude, no etiquette, and several times one of them danced into my lane after throwing a ball (I even had to push him away with my own ball at one point).

The staff is very friendly, and I have nothing bad to say about them.

The food is mediocre and slightly overpriced. Here are the foods to avoid: Chilli, Green Chilli, Burritos, and nacho cheese. The ingredients for these sit all day in a food warmer. I've gone up to order snacks and smelled the bad food coming from the kitchen. The fried foods and burgers are nice.
