Minit Mart gas station on 38th and Ocean Beach hwy is crazy. My wife and I went in this morning to get fuel for a vehicle before work. It's taken on their gas pumps that debit and credit cards are to be used inside. So I went inside and told them I wanted $40 worth of fuel. The owner of the store was at the cash register and rang me up and when I use the card machine it said that it was accepted he then stated that it was declined. So I ran it again this time it did the same thing and said accepted but he said it declined. I went outside and talk to my wife and her and I both checked our checking account in our checking account it said we had a zero balance however on the pending transactions it stated that Minit Mart gas station on 38th and Ocean Beach Highway took out $41 and some change. I went in and showed the owner this transaction and he proceeded to tell me that the charge would going to my bank and then it would drop off within a few minutes. I paid $20 cash and put $20 in my fuel tank. After dropping my wife off and my son to school I went to our bank and notified our bank or Bank gave me the $40 that I needed for fuel and called the gas station and stated that I did in fact have enough funds in my account. The guy then proceeded to say that he wanted to see a bank statement. I don't know about a lot of you folks but I will not be doing business anymore with this gas station and I would suggest that if you do use this gas station to find...

Sold expired product. I bought several things including a glass bottle of Mtn Dew. I bought these items on 12/10/17 and I took one drink of my Mtn Dew and it was AWFUL!! I looked at the expiration date and it had expired 8 months ago (4/17/17)

Changing my review. After finding out that the accusations I made were because of lies I retract my statement that this place sucks. It does not. Its very friendly place. I just had issues with neighbors and the staff got dragged into it. So please...
