Living here a little over 3yrs now. I gotta tell the truth. We’re paying mega bucks to live here. But for what reason?? Constantly reporting issues because emails get repeatedly ignored, constantly babysitting because we’re never told anything. Roof is leaking, Downspout still clogged after carpenters were here a few weeks ago and I had to ball park what could be wrong on the roof. The roof was patched. They did remove the downspout & cleaned a clogged part but we just a had storm & it poured over our gutter AGAIN into the AC & on our deck which then turns into a lake. A Basin has been on our floor for over a year because of the AC leaking either from storms & even with it turned on. Yes we emailed about that and no response so we’ve been trying like hell telling them something really needs to be done & they just don’t care, I’ve been emptying the basin constantly now. Our soffit fell over a year ago. Wood is absolutely dead. Again emailed- ignored. I was in the front office a few days ago because face to face contact is the only way you get answers here. Now we’re told “oh go to the portal and file a service request, it’ll go straight to maintenance”. So yet another game to play. Again paying mega bucks to live here and for what reason? The only time you’ll get an email response from Denise or whomever else is if you ask a basic question or if it’s regarding your lease & them getting your money. We also had the exterminator here for bees, another headache and a half. But not surprised at all. Good thing I have bee spray because my neighbor needed it. Again just neglect & carelessness all the way around. I’m to the point where I’m just done trying & giving a heads up about anything. We’re Just beating a dead horse. It’s sad. But you can only try so many times before you say, “screw it all. UPDATE- after continuous emails and complaints- the soffit was fixed & also the AC leak problem. UPDATEHere we are again. Sun. Nov. 5th 2023. Our toilet is broke and barely getting any water in the tank. Well, tried to call the on call maintenance guy at 854p. Tried again at 856p. Went to VM again & left a voicemail. No call back. What a surprise. I again tried at 912p and talked to someone who didn’t give their name and hung up after I talked to them saying “they’ll try to send someone”. Well tried calling back multiple times after to see who’s coming or what’s going on and back to voicemails. Totally unacceptable customer service! These people honestly need babysitting. It’s horrible. It’s now going for 10pm. Guess I’ll try calling again, voicemail again! It’s now 10:45pm. No one has come and left multiple voicemails. Time now is 11:37pm. No one has come. And no one is answering the phone. We put a service request in. Maybe tomorrow something will happen. Again I’m not surprised. Just pure negligence. UPDATE- going on 15hrs with no toilet now. We got an email to call the office about the service request maintenance update- Voicemail like usual. I drove to the office to see what’s up and let them know what’s been going on. Denise was her don’t care normal self. Basically told me “maintenance will get to it when they can”. Good thing I’m not footing the water bill. UPDATE- it’s 11:25am. Problem is now fixed. January 6th 2024 at 6pm- A snow storm and we realized we had no hot water. Called maintenance and they were aware. We received a text msg saying “the issue was being worked on” around 9:50pm. Here we are Sun. Jan.7th, still no hot water. Called maintenance to see what’s up, issue won’t be fixed until tomorrow January 8th. This place could care less about their tenants. Everyday we get emails about the hot water in different buildings. Either permanently fix the issue or actually take notice and realize whoever you hired is band-aiding an issue just for it to break again. Update: January 8th 2024- Still no hot water. Read moreThis place is a joke. I’d give 0 stars if possible. Lived here for years and any time you need something addressed… you’d get a big fat nothing. Squirrels live rent free in the attic crawl space of most buildings. Never addressed. In the winter the smell of rotten eggs fills the air… from the gas leaks that don’t get addressed when brought to their attention. Love being told the smell is normal for the old building infrastructure. Office staff is the most incompetent group of people I have ever had the misfortune of interacting with. Moving out all needed information was provided. On last day, we returned our key to the office only to learn “we never provided a forwarding address” according to them. We presented our email to them showing it was provided, and they acknowledged it via email. Then magically, “they actually had it all along.” Months go by and no security deposit refund was received. Inquired about this and our forwarding address “was never provided” to them by us again. Showed the same email and then their internal blame game started. Everyone blamed the one guy on vacation for the error. How convenient?! Later learned he “left the company.” Eventually got our security deposit back many months later. Imagine if you fell that far behind on your rent to them… To conclude, look elsewhere. If you must live here, the local municipality has a rent protection increase of 3% max on the books so they can’t increase your rent more than that every renewal. This is unheard of in this country. Read moreI have lived in an updated one bedroom apartment for 3 years. It's worth living in an the apartment because you get new stainless steel appliances. Utilities are cheap. Never lost power during a storm. Parking is never an issue. The rent is reasonable and close to shopping malls. My building is quiet and generally older folks live in the complex. The lawn is well maintained, HOWEVER, during the winter months, snow is not removed promptly and the parking lot is not salted. My wife has fallen twice on ice; one of the times she needed to go to the ER due to straining her ankle on black ice. There are squirrels in the attic and maintenance has not done anything. Also, water has been leaking from the roof and maintenance as not resolved the issue. It took 6 months for an outside light bulb to get changed over the front door which made it very difficult to unlock my front door. Sometimes water is shut off in the building and tenants are not notified. Garbage dumpsters do tend to overflow. However, that is do to the other tenants not reading the directions, on the dumpsters. In retrospect, the final set of comments, does help, with their marketing. For one, the complex is minutes from PA, minutes from 78 and 57. The office staff is pleasant and friendly. Select maintenance are quality. The rent is the lowest in the area. The surrounding towns and the town itself, is going through a bit of an upgrade.
