Tierra Caliente Tacos and Beer — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Wow! The food here is so good and I cant say enough was delicious! Highly recommend for a date night or causal great meal. Everything we had tasted so good and we enjoied so much. We finished everything. From the La Mangoniada, La Defresa (Strawberry Margarita), 2 rounds of chips and salsa, Taquitos Rancheros, chicken Enchiladas Suizas, the tacos de carne asada, to the cheesecake with strawberry sauce topping. Everything was delicious! Our waiters, had said it just opened 3 weeks prior, they were kind, polite and attentive. Others may need to be gracious with the service/timing- when we visited they were in their busiest hours; they were getting their foot-holding with being very busy, the night we visited. The ambience was great! Started some great conversation and sparked some research as pictures are famous important Mexican History people, and, the bar is just beautifully stunning to the eyes. Pricing and dinner tab was reasonable and just a tad less(by $10-$20) than our usual dinner date tab(Usually around $130 for 2 person date and $20-21%tip). We recommend to those appreciate quality, mexican cuisine,get back what they pay for, and are looking for new delicious jewel places to dine at. This place is new to Northridge. I took one star off for food cause, I ordered the ceviche and ordered it not spicy, chef didn't listen and came out spicy. It did have good flavor to it. The carne asada taco was very good. I took 1 star off service cause, the waitress needs to be off her phone more. My wife had the pork meat with the red sauce and said it was very good. Horchta was great and taste fresh. Plenty of parking. Would try this place again.

My Wife and I went again on 4/5 and it was so much better. We had Marlen as our waitress and she was excellent. I had the fajitas which were excellent and my wife had the taquitos and she said they were good. I do hope this place stays around for a long time. I am now giving it 5 stars...
