What a wonderful business I had the incredible fortune of coming across while trying to book a camping trip for my family in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Camp Urge offered assisted in helping our family prepare and organize our very first camping trip. It was magical! Not only did they supply EVERYTHING we needed from a family size tent, stove, sleeping bags, s’mores kit , cups, forks, bowls, pans, first aid kit, lanterns, soap, sink etc to name a few. They even included toys and activity sets for my 3 small boys! They also walked us through how to set up the tent and use the items they provided. I was so busy right up to the moment before we left and they created a detailed and explanatory itinerary for every day we were there that made the entire vacation completely turnkey and filled with fun and adventure. Lastly they somehow miraculously got us reservations in Sequioa which are impossible to get. If you are at all considering a camping trip, I highly highly recommend...
Read moreI had a fantastic experience renting camping gear for my recent backpacking trip. The reservation process was incredibly straightforward. You start by filling out a simple form online, and they follow up via email with the next steps. Everything I received was clean, well-maintained, and in excellent condition. Some of the items were clearly premium quality, which I could tell from my multiple visits to REI while researching gear.
As someone fairly new to backpacking with limited camping experience, I really appreciated how beginner-friendly the entire setup was. The gear was easy to use and made my trip feel smooth, comfortable, and stress-free.
This service is an ideal option for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors without committing to the full cost of purchasing gear. It’s much more affordable than buying everything yourself, and they also offer the flexibility to rent individual items based on your needs. I would absolutely rent from them again and highly...
Read moreAn amazing experience! We had only gone on one backpacking trip before and wanted to do the Trans Catalina trail. We weren't ready to jump into buying our own gear so we reached out to Eagle Rock Camping Co. They worked with us to curate a gear list that fit our budget and the needs of the trip, even answering all questions I had about how to set up camp and cook meals. They were also very flexible about the pickup and drop-off times. We ended up getting stranded for one night and had to unexpectedly extend the trip. They weren't even concerned about the gear, just our safety! The gear was well-maintained and top of the line, and the rental was very affordable. We lost one piece on a trekking pole, and our gear insurance covered it! This service was critical to making our trip possible and enjoyable! I can't recommend Eagle Rock...
