This was amazing. The hike is amazing. Jon, our guide was amazing. I truly have never had a better tour guide on a trip than what Jon was on ours. The views are spectacular. It was wonderful just getting to do this.

Jon, the guide, reminded me of my students (I am a middle school teacher) who thrive in the theatrics! He was so fun and quirky and told all the good stories that make up the Hollywood sign history with such great energy. He will also make sure to explain things to you, and will take your pictures for you so that you get a great shot of yourself and the people you are with. Taking the time for each group to make sure they get the shots they want to take back home. What other tour guide would do that? It was that above level customer service for me.

It is a simple/moderate hike, so make sure you are ready to get your heart rate elevated while seeing the spectacular views and smiling all the while because of your charismatic tour guide. Our tour guide JB was charming, entertaining and very knowledgeable about the LA area geographically, socially and culturally. He engaged well with every single participant and shared many interesting facts as we were taking in the breathtaking views. The pace was good for people with or without active lifestyles. Breaks in the shade were carefully planned for any stragglers. JB was patient and kind with everyone and helped us all take as many pictures as we wanted. He also happened to be very skilled at taking incredible pictures. His dog Scout made us all feel some of that wonderfully one of a kind California Love! This was my 2nd hike with them. Both experiences were unique and I would definitely do it again. Great way to meet like minded people, tan, exercise, and take amazing pictures of you and yours climbing a mountain up to the iconic Hollywood sign. I had been wanting to do this hike for years but had not found the right trail. Glad ai found this on booking. JB was a great guide!! He is very patient and takes breaks when needed. Checks up on you during the hike. The stories about the area make great conversation for the hike. We visited with our furry chihuahua and he kept checking on her as well.. great photos taken by him... definitely recommend this hike to anyone.. the hike is not difficult just steep up the paved road.
