Ivan's Party Rental & Decoration — Local services in Los Angeles

This review is solely for the booking phase as we did not get a chance to use their services.

We contacted via the phone to inquire about chair rental pricing for a funeral and any other fees associated (delivery, setup, etc). Over the phone we were quoted $1 per chair and $50 for delivery depending on location.

The venue for this event is 3 miles away from the posted business location. The final text information that was sent to us stated $100 for delivery.

When we inquired about the new pricing, and stated “shouldn’t the total be $50 less”, the response given to us was “No, you can look for another option”.

To me this is now how you do business. It is very rude, curt, and disingenuous. I hope in the future you’re able to be more courteous and cordial to your potential customers.

Additionally, charging $100 to deliver less than 100 chairs 3 miles is absolutely insane.

Response to the owner: Not factual. You stated “Sorry, that's why we asked for the address so that the system can tell us how much to charge.”

Nothing about a special delivery charge due to the days/times requested.

Placed an order for a jumper, chairs and tables. It was at a park and I noted that when I sent the address in a text. On the day of, I was told that the jumper couldn't be used at a park. Ok that should have been mentioned when I sent the address so I asked for just the tables and chairs and he said ok. Time goes by and no one ever shows up and they won't answer any of my calls. Had to call on my wife's phone to get him to answer. He said that the delivery wasn't going to be made. He tried to give me a few numbers of other places to try but no one was available for last minute deliveries or pick ups. Also when I asked what the deposit would be, I was told not to worry as this was a "professional" company. This whole mess could have been avoided had someone actually looked at the address and the note about being at a park. He also could have been honest and not told me the tables and chairs would still be delivered just for no one to ever show up. Guess I shouldn't have trusted a place where all the reviews sounded too similar and that doesn't take deposits. Almost ruined my kids party and was a complete embarrassment to the...

I was frantically looking for a place to rent 15 round tables and tablecloths, and 150 chairs at the last minute, for my father's memorial service. I needed a place that was willing to deliver on a Sunday. Many places quoted ridiculous prices, and was also closed on the day I needed them. I finally called Ivan, and he was able to deliver everything without a problem, and for a reasonable price. Keep in mind, this was superbowl Sunday too, and the delivery was in Hollywood. Ivan and his team were friendly, professional, and punctual. I will not hesitate to call him the next time I need to rent anything...
