Ah the Ross in North Hollywood, I saw negative reviews online before i came here so i knew what was expected. The moment i came in those doors, i was greeted by a nice Store Protection Specialist member.
I felt like i was in a safe and secure environment. After i was greeted i went to check out the mens department to see if i can i find me some nice deals so i can Dress for Less. This is when my hopes and dreams of this store started going down. The shelves of the mens shoes had about 5-10 shoes in each size. Some of the clothing racks were so empty as if somebody grabbed a bunch of cloths and stole them or foreign families buy out the whole departments.
The Pet section barely had any treats for me or my homie.
The purchase line was the last straw because the lack of good snacks. I saw an unpurchased half drank water bottle. Which made me rethink my life of what am i doing here again, and to whether or not I should go back to college or perhaps join the US Army.
I approached to what look like regular fruit gummy worms but in underlined yellow words it said sugar free gummy worms.
Does it look like i want to eat sugar free gummy worms ROSS?!?! Whats the point of eating gummy worms that lack sugar, i guess the calories but thats like asking for a FAT FREE milkshake and the dude uses organic water instead of fat free milk. DO I LOOK LIKE A SUGAR FREE GUMMY WORM EATING MF?
When i was about to leave there was another Store Protection Specialist member. It wasnt the first one that i mention when i came in the store. He greet customers when they came and left. When i left those doors i was not greeted back... it was just silence... with some of Drake's old songs playing in the background. And it wasnt no God's Plan for me to type this long review.
I came out the store and this famous quote from review brah left a mark "My disappointment is immeasurable and my...
Read moreNo hate to the cashiers but the security guards there are so annoying and they discriminate based on age and race. I have been coming to this Ross since they opened and I have already had so many problems with this store because of my age and race. I come in with my sister to return and buy some new clothes and out of no where I see the woman security with light brown hair start following me and my sister. I didn’t think anything of it because I thought they were following this other lady who was being really suspicious and looked like she was stealing. I finally figured out they were following us because I started taking off the hangers from our clothes so it’s easier to checkout and I over hear the security lady say on her microphone “They just took off all the hangers from their clothes” like what? The Ross cashier always tell you to do that before you come to the register and now im getting in trouble for it. The security lady was literally the age of us, our 20s. The black manger was the one that’s started the suspicion and the chase. It sucks that this is the closest Ross to us and we always end up having an issue. The black manger and the security lady followed us all the way to the exit. The black manger was even pretending that he was fixing the shoes like I know that isn’t your job. If they had something to say they should have confronted us and if they’re gonna be following someone, at least don’t be so obvious about it. Corporate will be hearing about this incident and other incidents as well. This is ageism and racism. This happened on January 16,...
Read moreFor being a big fan of Ross my recent experience at this specific location has been such a let down. My children needed to use the bathroom and when I asked, they told me I had to walk all the way to Burlington because their bathrooms "aren't working properly". Although the manager was kind enough to allow my son to use the bathroom, we were followed to the bathroom by one of the female cashiers who was waiting outside, like the gestapo, until my son had finished. My other child was waiting for his turn but that's when the lady started saying that he cannot go in because it "isn't an emergency" well what do you consider an emergency??? She followed it up with "our bathrooms don't work properly". Since my son just used your bathroom, I can say that it works very well! If you don't want customers to use your facility, the least you can do is tell them the truth instead of lying to them! And as far as public health is concerned, they are OBLIGATED to have bathrooms available if they are willing to sell merchandise and make money from their customers. So they are willing to take our money, but they are not willing to accommodate their loyal, paying customers?...
