Good China — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Found out about this place from TikTok as so many people were recommending this place because it had vegan options. I’ve been wanting to come here for years, however maybe I was too late. When I went the vegan options weren’t in the bar like the other options & could only be ordered a la carte. Not gonna lie that was very disappointing as I wanted to be able to try many options and not just one huge plate.

However I only took home a plate of vegan orange chicken & ordered a standard non vegan plate. Overall both the vegan & not vegan options were underwhelming. It’s upsetting to write a bad review as the cashier was very kind and of course they’re a small business. But yeah the food was pretty underwhelming overall.

I ordered the vegan General Tso's chicken, the vegan chow mein and the vegan fried rice for the first time, and I was so disappointed. The rice had both unseasoned chicken that was flavorless and strange-looking shrimp that I would've rather been flavorless. I hate to waste food but I had to toss the shrimp down the drain. And unfortunately, the shrimp taste permeated the flavor of the rice and chow mein so it was a chore to get through everything. The General Tso's chicken was all heat and no flavor. Honestly, the best part of the dish was the three pieces of flimsy broccoli that came in the General Tso's. I cannot believe this place has such good reviews and that people pay $12.99 for this. I'd rather drive 40 minutes to Pots n Woks...

WOW!!!!! I would consider myself a lover of all things Chinese fast food, the portions are great but the FLAVOR IS AMAZING!!!! The chow mein let off such a pleasant aroma of garlic the orange chicken tasted perfect, I got the teriyaki chicken and the chicken was tender it tasted fresh not chewy the sauce was the perfect thickness I’m honestly so great full to have come across this place I’ve been going around trying Chinese fast food places disappointed more times than I can count I’d honestly given up on finding a good place but if you have a keen palate for delicious food I can’t praise this location enough 10/10 I’m gonna have to practice restraint because I could see myself eating here every day and I’m already...
