Santa & Sons Christmas Trees — Local services in Los Angeles

THESE PEOPLE ARE A FRAUD!!! STAY AWAY!!

Their trees do not last at all. Both the one I bought and the one my sister bought died in less than 2 weeks and the sad thing when you call them and tell them, they immediately know that they sold us an infected tree. They tell you they will refund you over the phone as long as you bring a couple if the branches and a copy of the receipt/Statement. I get there to get my money back and they tell me they don’t offer refunds. By the way neither I nor my sister got a receipt from them. I keep all my receipts and I have receipts dated back to 2 years ago so trust me when I say they NEVER gave me one even though they said they did. They also don’t have the refund policy posted at the main cashier which is very interesting. They only have it at registers they never use so it’s not visible. THEY ARE LIARS AND THEY ARE KNOWINGLY SELLING INFECTED TREES TO THE PUBLIC RIPPING THEM OFF! It’s very sad that anyone would do this during the holidays but that’s they did. They are a fraud and should banned from selling trees to the public. I AM ONLY WRITING THIS REVIEW TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT THEY ARE A FRAUD BECAUSE I WOULDNT WANT ANYONE ELSE SPENDING THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY ON OVERPRICED INFECTED TREES! I did not have a good experience with Santa & Sons Christmas Trees. Sent my son to buy a Grand Fir which they told me was $69 for a 6ft (expensive compared to Home Depot which is $35 for a 6-8ft tree). He was sold a 6ft tree for $98! The tree did not absorb any water the first day and the fragrance normally from a Grand Fir was almost non-existent. I contacted them and the first tried to tell me I got a Nordmann Fir by mistake but I have had Grand Firs the last 5 years and I know whet they look like and how to care for them. My Grand Firs in the past have easily lasted 4 weeks and have stayed green and fragrant. Not this year :-(. REVISED REVIEW: 5 stars I am writing this review after the owner of Santa and Sons, Mark Rohlfs, invited us back after a bad experience. We had been attending the lot for 7 years and had a great time until an employee stepped out of line, causing us to walk off the lot and write a previous negative review. Since then, the employee was fired and the owner went above and beyond to make us happy.
