Read moreFirst time coming, I show a picture to the barber (older man with glasses, white hair, and tattoos) he takes a look at it for a second, then cuts the taper way too high, and doesn’t cut enough off the sides. I had to keep showing him the photo and politely ask to cut more off. 45 min into the haircut and I’m left with the weirdest hair situation ever that I don’t know how to fix, an clearly he doesn’t either.
After about an hour, he decided to literally chop off my hair in what seemed to be frustration and pure negligence. I kid you not chops it off, didn’t even communicate before how much he’d cut. On top of that, he started talking to another patron and clearly didn’t care about my haircut. At the end I told him it was too short and replied with, “It’ll grow back.” That’s how you treat a new customer who’s paying $50?? I was being so respectful and apologizing.

But hey, I guess good reviews and a little ego boost were all it took for the real personality to come out. Suddenly, he’s too important to deal with honesty from a kid? My son simply said he didn’t like his hair too short—and the response? “Go cut your hair somewhere else.”
Seriously? That’s how a professional reacts? We’re not talking about abuse or rudeness from our side—just a kid expressing a personal preference. And instead of listening, he throws us out like we’re disposable.
