This store is my new favorite store. Firstly, I've been here a couple of times and there is always parking spots available near the entrance. I like to go to this Home Depot store usually after lunch and it's still a good amount of parking.
Sometimes I drive to different stores and notice the range of plants can vary from each store. Last year, this store had the exotic tiger figs and some of the other stores nearby didn't carry them. So my lesson learned is if I'm looking for a specific type of plant it may not always turn up on the website.
I asked one of the garden Home Depot workers why this happens. They were happy to explain that on different days they receive different types of plants. Sometimes they might order things and other times their vendors bring whatever is in season. This all made a lot of sense. He basically said to also check the location when looking online. I pulled up my phone showing him and he spotted I had it on a totally different location in another city. Oops. That's my user fault. I found out every week they will definitely receive new stock and to just drop by for the most accurate as I don't like to miss out.
This store can move their reduced plants around a bit. I thought it was in one spot and almost left when they pointed out where it was. I'm not going to say as it could move next week? But I found some great small indoor plants that were greatly reduced in price. They all looked in good condition considering they were being reduced in price. So make sure you check out their reduced plants as I found 4 great indoor plants. They also had a lot of outdoor plants reduced as well.
I was almost ready to head to the checkout when I grabbed some more clay pots. I like these as I can also paint them and customize to match my indoor and outdoor collection. I grabbed a large one and small to sprout some seedlings.
Can't wait to come back to this store. Probably next week to check the clearance and will need more potting mix by then! Thank you for being such helpful and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am having one of the most shockingly worst customer service experiences I've ever had with Home Depot + specifically this location.
Backstory: I purchased a customizable glass table top on August 31st, 2020. I had a hard time finding an employee and after being called on the microphone and waiting in a chair for 20 minutes someone finally came.
I was told it would be delivered to the store in 2 weeks. The day came around for it to be delivered to Home Depot, September 15th. I realized no one had called me to let me know it was ready on September 17th so I called. After waiting on hold for over 30 minutes, and once they located my order they said they were unable to locate it in the store but the shipping mentions it was delivered there. I asked when since it was supposed to be there the 15th and wasn't and they couldn't give me a reason.
I had to go on a family trip and assumed they would be able to follow up with me once they located the order. On my trip, no call, no email.
I came back and called. Again waited 45 minutes on hold. This time it was a mixture of a phone ringing and someone answering it for half a second then putting me back on hold. Once I finally reached someone they told me "Oh it's here!" Annoyed I get in my car and drive to pick it up. At least this back and forth is done.
I pack the box in my car and take it home only to open it up and it's the wrong shape and size. I called, was on hold for 30 minutes and explained the vendor sent the wrong item and I need it to be resent to be correctly. This time speaking to a manager, GUS!
GUS was kind and told me he would refund me the cost and call me on the next business day with tracking information. It is now October 16th, 2020 - refund no call.
I called sometime a week and a half ago only to be told it would arrive October 10th, and it's 6 days later and I'm currently on hold for 27 minutes with a phone ringing and ringing just to speak to someone, anyone!
I could literally drive to the location, wait in line and speak to someone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would not recommend Home Depot for Kitchen Cabinets. Especially Daniela Flores. I paid to have measurements completed of my kitchen. She refused to provide them to me. I took a special trip to San Diego to order appliance and when i asked for the measurements she refused to provide them to me. She claimed it was company policy. When i asked where the policy was and when she provided it to me for my review she had no answer other than to say "i cant help you, you need to speak with a manager." I explained the urgency only for her to say "leave a message and someone will call you back, the manager is at lunch" 3 days later I finally got a call back. I had to fight to get my money back for a service that was not provided. They came out to measure, but refused to provide me with the measurements. Daniella was completely rude and acted with a sense of entitlement.. Very rude, Very unprofessional! I chose to go with another company specifically because of my negative interaction with Daniella. I am happy with my purchase and glad i didn't go through her. Also, Home Depot would not allow me to go through another rep in the kitchen cabinet section. I had to go with the original person i sat down with, which happened to be Daniela. I assume this is because of commission. How tacky! Assisting a customer should come before your desire for commissions. Guess what 10% of $0 is? You already know the answer to that...
