My friend told me about this place. I have never tried anything like this before and they had a newcomers event so I figured 'what the hell'.
Very welcoming, very encouraging, very clean, clear-concise-and simple to understand explanations of rules/ fight-club-esque discretion/ etiquette/ laser focus on "enthusiastic consent" that even a complete noob (which is me) can understand.
If you need a visual image of what this place is, think of the maître d' of the dungeon in the opening sequence of Robin Hood Men In Tights. This is that kind of crowd.
There is one room that continues to make me giggle, the premise is simply absurd and I hate myself for not thinking of it sooner. Oh and please be courteous and donate for drinks in the kitchen-it's closed for covid but the after parties I have been told of is the number one reason I will be coming back.
That and trying to beat the current record for "how many people can fit in the dog house"

Threshold might be a fun place for people to take their friends, but it's nothing more than that. If you don't know anyone there, it's a bad time.
