Planet Fitness — Local services in Los Banos

Planet fitness is cool to workout at here in Los Banos California but today Monday March 11th 2024 it was ridiculously packed I don't know if people were visiting out of town or just people just started getting memberships but this Jim a set out for as many people it's ridiculous but you know I just did what I had to do for my workout to be been a progressive and progress and not had a wasteful day at the gym but they should have left the 2 stories like it was I when it was in shape Jim it had more room and it can hold in a more bodies but they took all that away when they remodeled it and I don't have the capacity and a lot of the equipment there's not A lot of the that you would like to use structurally for your workout I think they need to remove a couple of d* treadmills and ellipticals and put in some other type of exercise equipment it's just too much of something and you don't get to get your full workout when it's packed like it was today but other than that I like working out is close by my house so I can't complain it's just an opinion of...

Mailed in certified letter to cancel. They ignored it, spoke with Abel "asst manager " said he would talk to the manager and call me back. Still haven't had a call, called back to speak with the manager some girl answered and stated he's on a phone call to check back in an hour. I don't have time for their stupid games with canceling a membership..after this experience I will NEVER sign up for this gym that scams people and FORCING them to stay in a "no commitment contract" and pay for membership when it is impossible to cancel. Online cancellation is a lie and doesnt allow you to, gives you error message at the end. Mailing a certified letter also is a lie " they'll tell you they never receiced it". When i went in person to show them my receipt of certified letter and proof, they still stated they never received it that maybe it went to the "city of Los banos/post office" I clearly wrote the address on the envelope with all of my information and their address/info. Everyone working here helpful & professional and new equipment/layout is great.👍🏼 Downside:👎🏼 Chaos in spa amenities room! OMG! Give your black card members their own codes to start machines! ☝🏼 How does it make sense to have to run back out to desk to ask an employee to turn on a massage chair or tanning booth when we go from one amenity to another? It doesn’t!👎🏼 Example: I waited 30+ minutes to get into red light therapy machine~ once I did the person never turned on the darn thing! So I’m standing there no clothes & freezing trying to figure out if they forgot about me/should I get dressed & go ask? Finally I called front desk to turn it on…..smfh….👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼😑. Then I wanted to use H2o massager after so again I have to go out front to ask to use machine while I was waiting in line to ask I lost my place in line for The massager as someone else got it done before me but I was next!!!
