Don't waster your time, or your money here. This place is not only overpriced, but also way under value. The first and most significant complaint I had was the "regular" and the "super" burrito are the same size. The "regular" is a joke with mostly whole beans. The cook here must have been freaking out when he realized they'd dumped the entire salsa container in my burrito. Then the "super" which is not super by any means, other than the price. Yeah it comes with some extra versus the regular, but then it's a dribble of sour cream, a teeny, tiny bit of un-melted cheese, again, a ridiculous amount of filler-beans, and hardly any meat. And as if the first burrito took the kitchens' last gallon of red salsa, nope! Overpowering, overused in the next burrito. I ordered chips and salsa to go, and the chips were overcooked in old oil (I know this because the white corn chips were brown and burned). The principal of this visit and reason I'll never frequent any of these establishments- was ultimately the "salsa" part of my order, which was a 1 ounce cup of green sauce to go with my chips. When I asked for more, they wanted to charge me an additional $0.75 for each, when I had initially ordered a cup of salsa. But I get it, they were running low after they dumped the rest on my burritos. Won't be back. 5 stars for my paying, eating it and I didn't die of food poisoning....
Read moreIT'S NOT OPEN 24 HOURS. I think it closes at 11pm(12pm fridays and saturdays), and opens at 8am. When I first started going they were pretty rude half the times. Once they noticed I always tip though they're nothing but smiles aha. Mainly come through for the drive thru, and THE BURRITOS. Some of the best burritos I tasted although they can skimp on ingredients half the time(definitely not as big as Mr. Tacos). Super burrito doesn't offer much extra. Sometimes they drown the meat in the salsa. I think that's why they're so stingy with giving some on the side. Me personally I love it spicy like that but I can imagine some people not liking that. When the abuela brings it personally I know its packed and at its best. Quesadillas are good but nothing special. Their chorizo breakfast was okay. The prices aren't cheap. Its like 8 bucks for a regular burrito with limited...
Read moreI usually stop by this restaurant while driving through Los Banos.
The food is okay. Not the best, not the worse. There is the standard fare of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc with your choice of meats and other fillings (toppings? Just what do you call them anyway?)
There isa drive through as well as a dining area. The inside itself is a little worse for wear, but usually kept clean and tidy.
My last visit was not a quick one however. I waited 24 minutes for my food, with 3 cars ahead of me. It was around 8 at night so perhaps they were understaffed.
The employees were pleasant enough and understood my less-than-perfect well enough to get more order correct.
08/03/22: Stopped by for a quick meal and used the drive through. I ordered the Al Pastor tacos and was not disappointed. Delicious and...
