We came across Ben's Repurposed Cabinetry online and decided that it would be a great option for our upcoming remodel. We watched the site daily to find the best fit for us. We live in my husband's grandparent's house, and it is 101 years old. Our home has beautiful old oak woodwork throughout. The dining room has a built-in buffet and window seat and colonnades between the dining and living rooms. So, we were in search of oak cabinetry in a specific color to match all of this. We planned to open the wall up between the dining room and kitchen for a more open floor plan and then do a small addition to make a larger kitchen. One set showed up that we thought would work and by the time we decided to push the button to purchase them, they had already sold. So, it became an evening ritual at our house that my husband and I would check the site every night. It took about 3 months for another set to show up that looked like they would work. This time we didn't hesitate and pushed the button the day they appeared, and we landed them. This set was an even closer match to what we were looking for and had almost the exact number of cabinets we would need. We made the 8-hour trip from South Dakota to Loveland to pick them up. As with most remodels, our project has taken a little over a year to complete. I am in absolute love with the cabinets we purchased. I do not think I could have selected a better match from a custom maker. We saved well over $15,000. Our used cabinets were in great shape, the insides looked like they had barely been used. All the shelf lining was without scratches and the pantry cabinet doesn't even show any can markings. Lastly, it was a Saturday when we went to pick them up and the guys at the shop stayed late that day to help us get them loaded. They were very helpful in arranging them in the enclosed trailer just right so everything would fit and ride smoothly. Excellent...

We purchased cabinets for 11,995.00. When we got them they were not as advertised (soft close cabinets )so we refused shipment . We immediately reached out to Ben. Ben was unavailable and never got back to us for until three weeks later. at which point, he's suggested putting soft clothes onto the cabinets. having heard nothing for three weeks, we we're forced to order cabinets elsewhere. It's now been 6 months and no reimbursement has been made. Ben has made many excuses as to why he will not/ cannot, refund our money wow, all the time playing the victim. This is a dishonest person to do business with. Unless you can physically inspect the cabinets that you buy from this company do not purchase from them. Don't be fooled by all the scripture quotes in the emails. Feel free to contact me and I will go into detail and show the correspondences that we have had with no refund. Update Ben refunded 7500.00, and thinks that this is acceptable. Ben has given many excuses and reasoning as to why he feels it's acceptable to give a partial reimbursement. Again I want to Reiterate, that if you cannot physically go and examine the "multimillion dollar home" cabinets to see if they are as advertised I Suggest not purchasing from Ben's...

What a great experience we had, we are so glad we found Ben's Repurposed Cabinetry and refer his business to friends. We bought our house back in May 2016 and the kitchen HAD to be remodeled, so we gutted everything! But we didn't have the funds to get a brand new kitchen; that's when we found Ben. We told him what we were looking for and he continued to send us updates when he got new items in. We quickly found the perfect set for our "new" kitchen (which included appliances) and were blown away with the cost. Such an amazing deal! We tell friends how much it cost to remodel the kitchen and they are shocked that we were able to do it so cheaply (the kitchen looks amazing)! Ben even arranged to have everything delivered directly to our new house DAYS after we moved in. What service! Even when we ran into a glitch where a piece was missing to install the microwave, I contacted Ben and he ordered the part and had it shipped overnight directly to us at no extra cost. Ben is such a great guy and I would refer anyone to...

We loved working with BRC! We were building a new house, had a basic idea what the kitchen layout would be, and saw a kitchen on their site that fit a few of our more specific needs. We live a state over so purchased over the phone, a little nervous, but when I flew in and rented a truck the cabinets looked just as good in person and the BRC crew was fabulous and helped me load it securely. It took a while to figure out how to piece everything together for our space and our builder had to fill out a few places where we needed something specific, but we love the character it brought to our house and we love telling people about how it all worked out. Way more sustainable and interesting than buying new. As an added bonus, we are enjoying the high-end wall oven (fixed with a few eBay parts) and range hood, plus we had enough cabinets left over to fill two bathrooms and an area of the garage and still give some away...
