Gorgeous Nails & Spa New Location — Local services in Lowell

HORRIFYING. I’ve come to this nail salon many, many times. But I will NEVER go back. Last night I called to make an appointment, I asked for 12:30 but was told 1 would be better. Granted, I called late, but I was expecting it to go to voicemail and to be able to make an appointment over the machine. When I arrived at 1 I was told by the woman that took my appointment, “I was so drunk last night! I didn’t know if you said 1 or 1:30!“ I was understanding and even apologized for calling late. I sat and waited for 30 minutes while The techs around me took other customers. Then at 2pm the first woman finally took me. When I showed her the design I wanted, she asked if I’d be doing gel or regular, I asked for regular and she told me it would be impossible. She said gel was an extra $10 and insisted I could only get them done how I wanted if I got gel. So I finally resolved to just get a solid color. Finally she started doing my nails and said if I wanted them long (still cut basically in half from full tip length. I even brought my own polish.) I had to pay an extra $10. At this point I told her this was the worst experience I ever had here and I was considering writing a bad review. Instead of offering ANY consolation for my awful experience SHE KICKED ME OUT with tips glued on and continued to scream about how it was my fault because I missed her one call this morning to confirm the time. THESE EMPLOYEES DRINK ON THE JOB AND UP CHARGE ARBITRARILY. I will not be...

This place was recommend a friend. Had been going there for about 6 months without and issue. I don’t make appts w/ anyone specific. Got my nails (dip) done on a Thursday. Told the lady they didn’t feel right and she blew me off. Next day I had 2 chip. Over the weekend another 5 chipped. I’m a nurse and dip usually lasts 3 weeks. I came back to have them fix the 7 chipped nails over 3 days and was told I had to go to the same person to fix them. Made the appt and she was so rude, rushed and rough w/ me!! She kept clipping my cuticles w/ the file and pulling at my fingers aggressively. I left midway and another girl finished for her. I will NEVER go to this place again as the 2nd person was also rude! It felt like I was bothering them. If the job was done right the 1st time I wouldn’t be complaining but the attitude and rudeness was inexcusable!!! No accountability or acknowledgment of their mistake. Just am “I’m sorry” and fixing the nails would have been good...

Walked in to fix one nail as I was in the area. The response was rude and absurd. I literally have red dip powder for the base and black polish. She asks again if I’m here to fix a nail, and I say yeah. She flip flopped between arguments. The first was oh we’re too busy, I said okay, any chance for a brief slot later. Without answering that, she says we don’t know how to do your nails…this being a ludicrous statement.. I asked do you use dip powder, she says yes, I asked do you have red dip powder, she says yes, I asked do you have black gel polish…and again in the middle of the conversation and motioning for me to leave, picks up a ringing phone and goes we’re busy.
