I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Our 3 year old is obsessed with snakes and pretty much all reptiles. We found this place simply by googling reptiles near us bc we’ve been to the zoo, nature centers and petco so many times and was looking for something different. We were warmly greeted and shown around and spent a long time looking at all the reptiles. The kind college student was really kind and patient with our 3 year old. Our son is so obsessed with alligators and this place had baby caymans and American alligator babies, we couldn’t even believe it! They walked him around and showed him lots of snakes included venomous snakes, one which was a rattlesnake. The other gentleman was kind enough to let our son hold a baby sand boa. You have no idea how much today made his day. He keeps talking all about it. Until this day, we never even considered owning a snake and on the way home we were talking about how we could probably get used to cutting up mice 😂😅. Today was my first visit to this reptile store. It's not everyday you come across a reptile/amphibian only store. Overall the store was very clean and well put together with a retail section and their own personal collection of reptiles. I did get a full tour including the feeder room and the venomous room as well. The store is a work in progress according to the store owner as it's only been opened for 1 year. The staff members were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would have given the extra star to make a 5 star review but the only con I had with the entire store was, some of their reptile cages could have been misted down or had higher humidity levels for the reptiles that require more humidity than others. Best reptile place to get anything you want/need. I buy insects and mice on a daily basis, and they last so much longer than anyone else bugs. Especially the crickets. They also have brown mice sometimes, which is great bcuz my ball python is picky every once in a while. I also bought a albino corn snake from them, and he's doing great. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. They give great advice and take good care of their animals. They even let me handle one of their snakes bcuz I have the same type, but he's a baby right now. I just wanted to see what I would be dealing with, and they allowed me to handle theirs.
