Apaprently Aldi hates the handicapped. In the lobby there's a single MANUEL wheelchair. One...manuel...you know, the kind you push yourself by grabbing the wheels and rolling it, like Ironside. Had a small basket, to add insult to injury. Ample wide aisles. Probably the widest aisles in any grocery store you've ever been in. So space isn't a problem. If you push a cart you have to put a quarter in it. Because everybody carries a quarter in these days of ATM cards. No baggers, no bags, no boxes. You can buy a bag. Bunch of junk in center aisle. Odd brands that seem like parody knockoffs. Prices aren't much different than anywhere else if they're different at all. Very sterile. Read moreI was very impressed with ALDI on opening day at the new location on Eg Drive in Harrisburg. The store is well stocked with quality fruits and vegetables and is clean. Free quarter in the cart, free tote bag and keychain to kick off the opening. I had a very pleasurable shopping experience. And the carts don’t squeak as you walk down the aisles!!.
