Laki Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Susquehanna Township

I have been wanting to try this since it is very close and I like trying new food places. I chose the Chicken Momo and Chicken Chowmein (probably makes more sense to call it Lomein). I ordered both at medium spice level…should have done spicier to see how it tasted, but medium was still great. Definitely will frequent this place. I really liked the food. Maybe a little pricier than I’d normally pick, but not too bad for fresh food. I really want to try the Fried Chicken next time. I’ll only order the chicken breast piece by piece because that is my choice. I only like the white meat. $2.99 a piece, $2.50 would be better since I’ll want 3-4 pieces. That definitely would appeal to more people when you can get an 8 piece at Giant for $9.99….and is arguably better than anything in the area. Bottom line though really good food so far, small business, takeout only, might be able to fit a couple tables if they’d get rid of the worthless skill machines and ATM that no one will really use there when there is no AC and a fan. I recommend this place if you want a good spot...

Pretty new in the area thought I'd give it a shot, ordered a 5pc Fried Chicken w fries and soda

Total came to 14$

Fried Chicken:

Juiciness 7.5/10, would recommend calling 15-20 mins before arriving and ask for a new batch

Texture 9/10. The chicken was crispy on the outside but a bit too crispy

Taste 7.5/10. You can only taste salt and a bit of paprika, feel like it could use a bit more seasoning and the chicken on the inside is bland

Fries :

Texture 8/10, crispy but it is your regular frozen fries you find at walmart

Taste 7.5/10, tastes good especially with the cajun seasoning but it lacks freshness and there is that taste of frozen fries that I personally don't like

Conclusion:

This is the type of place you try but probably never go back to ( in terms of fried chicken ) haven't tried their other stuff, also, no place to dine in except a single table outside and can't assure availability, I'd recommend you'd give it a shot if you are in the area and looking for something that bangs...

Everything was amazing here. I went here with friends after seeing the place on GrubHub and it was really fantastic! I will note ahead of time this is more of a takeout or delivery place as there's only one table, but it was free when we were there and added to the atmosphere.

The food was absolutely incredible. My friends and I shared the fried chicken, pork belly, and the fried chicken momo--everything was amazing. The server gave us a test of the Laki fried wings and they were amazing--definitely what I will grab next time I order.

I grabbed a tres leche cake slice (I didn't see it on the menu but they were available behind the counter) as I left since I wanted something sweet and it was great. Everything was really excellent!...
