Antique Mall of Lumberton — Local services in Lumberton

There were so many wonderful things to see, that were actual vintage and antiques. Not recreations, or shabby-chic design. There was an absolute, tiny bit of that, but it is no danger of taking over... And the employees were so welcoming and friendly!!! Hubby and I made a few purchases and found the prices very reasonable. It was far from where we live, about 3 hours, but we made it into a adventure, visiting other places, on the way home. I'll be going back on my own, to shop solo, for the items that he admired, but didn't get... A gamble, whether or not it's still there, but likely, I won't come home empty-handed, in any case! First off, the staff was great—no complaints there.

The layout of the place is a bit wonky, but we managed to see everything within an hour.

Saw a fair amount of overpriced uranium glass. I gave up collecting it two years ago when the prices became outrageous.

Deducting -1 star for the blatant money grab on the newer series $2 bills, priced at $5.50 each—a 175% premium. ( folks ask for 2 dollars at your bank/credit union)

Like any antique store or mall, item pricing ranged from low to just right, to high and very high. It is what it is.

My opinions...

Absolutely a wonderful place to shop for a variety of stunning vintage finds! The two Lovely Ladies that helped us were amazing. They have such a great selection of rare finds. Everything has great prices for what you are purchasing. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely make this a regular visiting spot for our vintage buying. We were super happy with the items we purchased. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for unique rare finds, great prices, good music, and Sweet welcoming Ladies...
