Do not rent here so long as it is managed by Groma. They are a slumlord that has shown no interest in maintaining a safe experience for residents, much less a luxury one.
Under management by Greystar, Mosaic lived up to the expectation of being a modern, upscale community that my wife and I were proud to call home. It is a stunning building with great views and amenity spaces.
Unfortunately, our satisfaction was short lived, as roughly 6 months into our lease, Groma took over management duties and have since scaled back spending considerably in an obviously effort to prioritize profits over quality of life for residents paying a premium to live here.
Resident events that were monthly under Greystar became an afterthought and maintenance staff was taken from 2 full time on-site positions to one part timer who has to travel from another site to address tenant issues. This has caused service call response to suffer tremendously, often leaving residents without working appliances such as dishwashers and refrigerators for more time than is reasonable for the amount we pay to live here.
Recently, security staff was scaled back after having been requested by many a resident due to, among other things, theft, property damage, trespassing and hard drug use by those living on and off the property.
The building and its surrounding area are filthy and the trash chute gets backed up every weekend, which forces tenants to choose between keeping it their apartment, placing it in the trash room on their floor or walking it down and placing it the open air garage where they may attract rodents.
For your money these are issues that are downplayed when brought to the attention of management who take a laissez-faire attitude towards most tenant concerns.
At the time of this writing, Mosaic is a far cry from the establishment we were sold when we moved in and we have seen many of our friends and neighbors flee as a result.
If you’re looking for a place to live that treats tenant concerns with urgency and strives to give back value in return for rent that outpaces most in the area,...
Read moreGiving an honest review. Once you are inside your apartment, it is nice. Looks beautiful and you’re comfortable. But outside of the apartment not so great. First, this is a pet friendly location so be ready to find random piles of “accidents” that owners don’t pick up at least once a month. All entrances smell like urine because everyone’s dog wants to mark their territory right at the front door. People walk their dogs in the parking garage so the garage also smells like urine. Carpets don’t get cleaned often (maybe once every 6 or so months) so any stains on the hallway carpets are there for a good while. There’s crackheads/prostitutes that walk around at night, so not the safest but they just installed a Narcan vending machine right infront incase anyone overdoses. Some people who live here don’t care to close the door and some of the crackheads get in the building. I personally have had to close the door on people who didn’t have a code but not everyone cares to do that. There’s a community health center and a shelter nearby and you see the people accumulating and doing drugs like it’s mass avenue. And when you’ve tolerated this for a year, your rent will increase 300$. I will say they have events about once a month or so like paint night or pool day or best costume but maybe like 10 people max show up to these events. Management is nice but you have to email back and forth or remind them over and over again to get heard. I give 3 stars because like I said, the apartment itself and the facilities are nice but don’t forget you’re in a ghetto neighborhood and this company wants to charge you as if you were living in Boston. I had a 1 person household, rent was 2150$, plus $50 for water, 100$-150$ for electricity, $110 for parking at the lot across from the building and they want to raise my rent $300 for next year. I...

Poor Communication and Incompetence.
My recent experience with Mosaic has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating. After applying for an apartment, I was approved for the wrong unit, which turned out to be considerably more expensive than the one I initially filled out paperwork for. This mistake alone should have been a red flag, but unfortunately, it was just the beginning of a series of issues.
Communication with Mosaic management was abysmal, to say the least. I called multiple times and left voicemails that went unanswered. It took an astonishing 3 to 4 days just to address a simple issue, which is completely unacceptable.
Furthermore, the lack of professionalism and efficiency is not what one would expect from a company that advertises itself as providing a luxury experience. It's evident that Mosaic falls far short of this promise.
As a result of these experiences, I have decided to explore other options. I cannot in good conscience recommend Mosaic to anyone looking for reliable and...
