Edit: I received a text today from Walgreens saying my prescriber denied my refill. I called my doctor, and they said that they NEVER closed or denied my prescription and never would since this is a medication I need for survival. This time, they called Walgreens and was told that Walgreens has been having a problem with their fax machine and haven't been receiving responses. So, Walgreens employees have been blaming my physician for my not getting my necessary medication when they knew that the problem was on the Walgreens end.
I will be checking with my lawyer about being denied the medication and not even allowing the option of giving me enough to get me through until this is resolved since this is a medication I require to keep me alive and healthy.
I have been trying to get a vital prescription filled since October 12. I was originally told that I would be informed when it was ready for pickup. On October 20, I still had not heard from Walgreens, so I called and was told that the order was closed by my doctor, and there was nothing they could do. Since it was the weekend, I was unable to get in touch with my doctor's office. I spoke to them today at 1:30, and they said the prescription was authorized on October 15. They said they have never closed a prescription of mine. I've been on this medication for about 10 years, and I have never had a problem refilling my prescription. I called the pharmacy again and was told that it was closed and there was nothing they could do to help me. So, I am without a necessary medication that should have been filled almost 10 days ago and nobody in the pharmacy - now 4 people - have done a thing to help even though the issue is on...
Read moreWent to Walgreens TODAY got 4 Jumbo Slim Jims they where on shelf and under the box read 2 for $3 . When I went to cash out it rang up as $2.69 a peice when I brought it to the man's attenton and walked him over to the shelf where it read 2 for $3 he said it was in the wrong space. Well I should have gotten the price it said under the item. 2 for $3. Also the man was not friendly at all. I will go to CVS from now on. They lost myself and my family as customers.
