Bill at Best-Way is the best. You just don't find this level of customer service, along with excellent quality workmanship. Sent him photos of my project, and old family heirloom dresser which had dried out dovetail drawer joints, and numerous areas where the mahogany veneer was loose or missing, as well as needing to be refinished. He provided an estimate quickly over the phone, explaining what would probably be involved, and I dropped the unit off the following week. A couple of weeks later he called, and was ready for me to come in and pick a new finish color. In the shop he was able to show me what a couple different finish options would look like, right on the unit itself, and I picked out my flavor. About a week and a half later he called, unit was ready. When I got to the shop, I was flabbergasted at how nice it now looked. And what I owed was $100 less than the rough estimate he had quoted earlier, how often does that happen...lol. You can't go wrong at this place from what I have experienced, thanks Bill for...
Read moreA few years ago my wife and I had new doors made for our home office. I attempted to stain the doors with a local handyman, and the product did not turn out as we had hoped. My wife found Best-Way Refinishing and we decided to bite the bullet to have the doors stripped and re-stained to match the wood from the other doors and trim in our home. The result was fantastic! The doors look great and Bill and his team were really great to work with.
Just recently, we acquired a puppy who managed to scratch a bunch of our doors and trim. I inquired with Bill to see if he had a record of the stain that was used to stain our office doors three years ago. The company still had a record of the stain and Bill made a small amount for me. I went through the different areas that needed touch up due to the scratches from my puppy and the results look great. I highly recommend this company. Great people and...
Read moreI brought in a small side table that I bought 10 yrs ago, it was painted a matte black but paint had chipped and I wanted to paint it a different color. Bill told me the table was 150 yrs old, made of mahogany and birds eye maple (kind of rare) and convinced me to have it refinished. I'm so happy I listened to him. The table (actually an old sewing cabinet/ table) turned out so beautiful. I could never have imagined what a truly lovely piece of furniture i had. I can't figure out how to add pictures but the table is...
