Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Lyons Township

UPDATE AGAIN: just now the lady called me to try and say none of that happened! Saying no one hung up on me even though I heard the click while I was in the middle of speaking and line went dead... Telling me it was the delivery drivers fault saying he didn't pick it up even though they forgot to make the food? (And I know he didn't because I asked him about it when he dropped it off and he said he asked them about it in store and they told him they didn't have anything) And when I tried to question her about it she hung up on me again!!! Absolutely 0 stars.. in fact -5 stars.

UPDATE: I tried calling back one more time.. lady answers and says "you're food is missing, we'll give the money back." And I asked "for the whole order? Or just the food?" And then she immediately hung up on me again and wouldn't answer when I called back to try and clarify.. I refuse to give this store any more money and I hope her and that entire team is fired because that was beyond disgusting behavior.

Original review: Ordered for delivery and they forgot 1/2 my order and only delivered my smoothie and not my food. When I tried calling the store they wouldn't answer multiple times and the only time they did answer a lady picked up, shouted "call back later" and then hung up on me before I could even say anything....

I just found out about this place, so I was excited to try again. I ordered online however I noticed that I was being charged the full price when it was suppose to be "happy hour" half off smoothies from 7-10. I called the store to question the price and associate there did not know why I was being charged full price. Once I arrived I ask him if we can cancel while I am here and then re-order while i am in the store, so that i can get the happy hour price. He did not know how to do that either. Then he says and we dont have any bananas to add to the smoothie. I was upset at this point because the associate did not have any idea how to help me the customer service and i was stuck paying full price for a smoothie that was suppose to be half off AND the smoothie was nasty which i explain to him and he just look and stared like OH Well. Very bad...

If I could zero out the stars I would. My sister was manager at this location and the many of the upper management was rude and flat out ignorant in terms of being professional. Employees by the name of Cynthia, Ashleigh and upper management - Martin fell so far short of the expectations. Every one of these people asked my sister for help. Whether being moved to management level or personal reasons such as babysitting Cynthia’s children and providing a roof over this roach of a cumguzzler for a night. My sister looked out for EVERYONE at this port-o-pot. At the end of her service she was thrown under the bus while still doing a service to this company and NO ONE could protect her. Shame on all these people and I do not recommend anyone buy from here because they don’t know how to take care of their people nor do they care for...
