My friends took me to the IHOP located inside the gas station for my Birthday. The IHOP is very spacious and clean. The Hostess and staff are very nice and friendly. However, I am thinking due to the amount of customers that were there and arriving things happen. With that said... Our waitress was forgetful. My friends would ask for minor extras that were not brought to the table. Such as extra creamer, sugar, flavored syrup. She had to be reminded. But I am sure due to the flow of customers it might be a factor. That doesn't take away from her personality. Simple forgetfulness. On to the food. I ordered the Breakfast sampler. Buttermilk pancakes consisting of a stack of 2. Scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, 2 stripes of bacon, hash browns, 2 link breakfast sausages, and ham. My food came to me cold. The cheese was not melted over the eggs. The hash brown was also cold. In my opinion, the eggs seemed to be premade and ready to plate. The eggs didn't seem that they were freshly made when ordered. The shredded cheese did not melt indicating that the cheese was added on top of cold eggs. The pancakes are now smaller and not the size they once were. I'm sure it has to pertain to the egg situation currently happening. The pancakes were thick and fluffy with a good taste. Just small in size. Both my friends mentioned that it was my birthday and after we were done eating I had a pleasant surprise of being sung to and treated to a small bowl of ice cream. I do realize because of raising costs of food cuts need to be made and things need to be changed. I would like to give this location of IHOP another chance to redeem itself. Hopefully next time I decide to go my food will be Hot and freshly made. On the plus side it's clean and the employees are friendly and when asked on the second time they do come with the things that are asked for. Nice and totally friendly people...
