i had my hair braided by one of the girls in the shop and she did a good job that day, it seemed fine, until i went to sleep WITH MY DUE-RAG. the next morning, my braids fell out and had completely made me look a walking wreck. i called to tell them about this and seek a refund, i was told "YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE AND THE SERVICE WAS RENDERED UNTO YOU. SO NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN." for the amount of money i paid ( $60 ) it was a total rip off. i DO NOT reccomend that any of you go to this place for hair braiding. regular cuts, and styles/perms and all that; seems decent, and no immediate problems, however, the managerial staff is very poor on good customer relations. so i say BUYER BEWARE. hope this review is satisfactory to gauge the quality and professionalism of this shop. btw, it was clean and neat, there is a VERY HIGH SMELL/USE OF BENZINE AND OTHER COLONES...

I have been a client of this salon for more then 23 years. I have primary used one stylist, however I have and would use anyone who is employed at this business. The staff are very friendly and open to any and all suggestions. Never have I been talked into something I haven't wanted. Customer service is exemplary, and this salon is clean and neat at all times. Walks in are always welcomed with open arms. If you come as a new client, you will never have a reason to go anywhere else. I would highly recommend Michael's to anyone looking for an awesome place to get a haircut. I was just in there about an hour ago for a bang trim. When I say I'm embarrassed for people to see my hair, I don't even want to step out of my house till it grows out. I even went to another salon after to see if it can be fixed but unfortunately itll have to grow out before anything can be done to fix it. I had Rick and asked him how long he's been cutting hair. He said 30 years. Tell me why he doesn't know the simple rule of that when you cut wet hair it shrinks about an inch. I showed him pictures of how my hair was before and how I wanted it less full, but cut a smidge above my eyebrow. This was my first time coming in to this salon.
