I showed up, desperate to purchase a bed, as I have been sleeping on the floor in my apartment since moving in four days ago. It was 6:55 PM, The store doors were already locked, and yet when I call the store, I person receiving the call was gracious, and told me that the manager would come to meet me at the door. The manager came to the door, greeted me pleasantly, and allowed me to come in to be shown the beds. He showed me the new beds, and I began to realize that I was just about to stressed to make a decision, knowing that the store really was closed. Plus, I had not decided upon whether to purchase a brand new bed for this apartment. I wondered out loud if I should just wait and search for a futon, or at least a temporarily inexpensive situation The manager seemed to understand my situation, and he suggested I at least take a look at another option. We walked over to look at the outlet/discount section. Reluctant, after viewing those choices, He located a mattress that was a perfect choice for me, price-wise and practical for my present need. The purchase was completed, and I took him up on his offer for him to follow me to my empty apartment with the mattress in his pickup truck. He brought the mattress into my apartment, and I did not have to lift a finger throughout this entire process. I greatly appreciate sleeping in this bed, the result of outstanding customer service, beginning with the person who first took my call, and ending with my mattress being delivered by the store manager! I have been in the market for new furniture and stopped by Haverty's one day on my way home. I was greeted by Lisa Kelley, one of their sales consultants, and we hit it off gloriously! I told her I was looking for living room furniture, and as we strolled around the showroom, she listened patiently as I tried to explain that I had no idea what I wanted, but on the other hand had particular desires. I know; it doesn't make sense, does it. But somehow, I'm pretty sure Lisa has been through that customer situation before. She offered the Haverty's complimentary design assistant; and she and Tim came out to have a look. They have a wonderful computerized design program that was truly amazing to help you see the furniture in your room! I loved the recommendations, but went into a bit of an analysis paralysis. Both Lisa and Tim spent an entire day walking me through all the different fabric choices for the furniture pieces. Never did I feel rushed or that they would rather be doing anything besides being right there helping me. I highly recommend Lisa to help you with your furniture needs. She has a truly remarkable knowledge of the entire inventory, along with all the various design choices of all the furniture. And if you're not sure what you want, she and Tim...

I made my first furniture purchase at Harvertys Furniture and was pleased with the sales pitch of quality and duration on the sectional that I purchased for $3000.00. Within the month, the cushions and pillows started to shed the feather inserts. I didn't rush to report the issue because I had a 5 year protection plan in case of damage to furniture. I could get store credit if issue could not get fixed. 2 years in I call to do a claim because my pillows and cushions are worn down due to the feathers coming out of insert. I was told the 5 years protection plan is for actual stain or damage and cushions and pillows not having insert is not considered damage. All we have done was sit on sectional. 1 year warranty on furniture which has expired. Terrible and deceiving sales information. Know how to read and how to look over legal documentation and interigate the sales person before making purchase. Have yourself covered. I will never go to this furniture company to make a purchase again. It makes no sense to purchase a protection plan. Quality what? See an issue, do not overlook.
