i had called to see if they had been an authorized Onkyo repair center to repair my 7.1 receiver. The answer was yes. I drove to the shop ( other shops were closer but not Onkyo authorized) , when I arrived I was greeted by (Gary I think) and asked if it was under warranty. I said I didnt think so. I explained the issue and what I had read up about the receiver. With that the shop worker said ,"We cant fix that, that needs a whole new computer board, you can't replace only the DTS chip".
