I moved to Madison last summer and visited this store on a whim. My dog is highly anxious and every time we came in the staff has made a directed effort to welcome us and do their best to keep her calm, engaged and distracted if other dogs come in. We even make a habit just to stop by for treats and pets for my dog weekly and they go above and beyond to make her comfortable, leading to an improvement in her relationship to new people. If I’ve ever had a question about a product they’ve been more than willing to help out and recommend new things. They even let my dog and I hang out in the back if there are other dogs in the store. If I could rate them more highly I would, this store, the staff, and everything they stand for are absolutely wonderful. They carry lots of items that you can’t find anywhere else in town, including a wide variety of healthy single-ingredient treats for cats and dogs, holistic supplements, and unique handmade items. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable on their inventory and have given me great advice on cat treats and supplements.
