Maurices — Local services in Madison

I am a HUGE supporter of Maurice’s, have been for years but tonight was such a let down. I recently lost a lot of weight and need all new clothes, I was so pumped to go shopping. Walked in, the girl behind the counter didn’t even look up to acknowledge us (this is also a safety concern for her). I went about my business trying to find what I was looking for, I turned to look at the girl still behind the counter and still nothing. She finally made eye contact once for a quick moment, but quickly broke contact and went back to her phone. It was not even like she was working. So with a stack full of jeans, I took MYSELF to the dressing rooms, she still sat quiet. Tried my clothes on, never come to check on us. I went out of the room to look for something else and now there was another lady that was behind the counter and the other girl was gone. For a moment I was a little excited that someone may actually be eager to help and not look at us like we are bothering them. Well….nope….didnt even look up to acknowledge myself nor another customer that walked in. So I left everything where it was at and I left the store. MAURICES!?!? WHAT IS HAPPENING??? The disappointment is real on this one and just ruined what was supposed to be a great night...

I went into Maurice's for the first time recently. I know! I can't believe it either! Where has this place been all my life? The staff was amazingly helpful, kind and warm. Seriously, I felt like I could invite these people home for Sunday dinner! The clothing in the store speaks for itself. Everything in there is adorable! The manager really helped me put some great outfits together. His energy and enthusiasm for coordinating clothes and really being there to bring additional sizes made me feel like I had the help I needed.
