Rude Employee. I went shopping between the hours of 8am and 9am. I already was aware that this time was designated for vulnerable populations. When I approached the entrance, STACEY gave the disclaimer that the store was currently open only to vulnerable populations. At the same time, there were two other groups of people approaching the door as I told her I was considered to be vulnerable and proceeded to walk toward the door.
STACEY then raised her hand in a manner to stop me, and asked HOW? I said what do you mean how? I'm immunosuppressed. STACEY said "immuno-what?", in a loud and questionable tone? Again, I said immunosuppressed. Then she goes on to give me a grand speech about how she is only trying to protect customers. As if I weren't a customer who needed protection.
I felt singled-out and embarrassed that I should have to explain to her how I'm considered a vulnerable population. She spoke to me in a condescending manner, as if I were lying or she didn't believe that I met criterion to be let in the store at that time. This shows just how uneducated STACEY really is. A person in a vulnerable population may not look the part. For example, an immunocompromised or immunosuppressed person may have Cancer, HIV, Lupus, Sickle Cell Anemia or even an inflammatory condition that requires high steroids treatment and NOT look sick. They may be young and vibrant, just as I am!
I don't appreciate my shopping experience at Target today at all. It ruined my morning quite frankly. STACEY had no right to question me. STACEY need's to be retrained, moved to another location of service, or fired if she can't learn to treat ALL PEOPLE with respect and dignity. She is sitting tall on a high horse and needs to be...
Read moreI’ve come to the target a lot since it’s very convenient to have it right down the road.
When I’ve come, it’s always messy but I’m willing to ignore it because I know a lot of places are short staffed.
But….this last time wasn’t great. Again, I know stores are short staffed and it’s Christmas time. So it’s a double whammy….however the store looks like a bomb went off. This is the worst I’ve ever seen it..
But that’s not the major reason I’m leaving this review. The reason I’m leaving this review is because of the women’s bathroom…..two out the four stalls were actually functional. One of the nonfunctional stalls had no hook to hang up my back. Which again normally wouldn’t be the worst thing. But the floor of this stall was wet and had tp littering the floor all around. I didn’t want my bag or coat even touching that floor. The worst stall was the very last one though. There was no sign, the door was just closed. But there was enough of of a gap on the stall to clearly see the toilet. It had no water in the bowl and was filled with human feces. It looked like someone took a shit in a bucket and dumped it all in this toilet. It was disgusting.
Again I’ve worked in retail and I get it. I would absolutely want nothing to do with that. You couldn’t pay me enough money to literally clean up shit. But there could have have at least been a sign put up. And the bathroom could have been presentable. The soups weren’t refilled, the TP wasn’t refilled, the floor was wet with water and soaked TP. It was disgusting.
I’ve seen Walmart and gas station bathrooms in better condition.
I can excuse a lot but standing human feces just free balling in an empty toilet bowl is where I...
Read moreRead moreTo the Manager of Target on Highway 72 West in Madison, AL - A serious look at your Leadership staff would do your team justice. When I went to put a furniture item on hold, one would have thought I was asking for a million dollar check. My wife and I were so very excited to purchase this particular item; it was inexpensive, looked fantastic, matched our interior home decor… but we decided to take our business elsewhere when it took someone in Customer Service dept. several minutes to get to me - not to mention, a crowd of employees were gathered behind the counter chatting and gossiping about a coworker going to Buccies. Then, a Manager made eye contact with me several times without any attempt to assist me. When he finally figured I might need some help, he scoffed at my simple request to hold the furniture item until my wife and I were done shopping. He began to take it out of my hands and repeatedly told me “I got it..!” with such attitude; I wasn’t letting go because he clearly did not have control of the item and I didn’t want it to break or get scuffed. We returned a bathroom decor item and went to a local competitor and bought a similar item. Despite how much we like the affordability of Target’s furniture, we won’t be buying these items...
