The Game Crafter, LLC — Local services in Madison

The Game Crafter earned this review a long time ago and it's about time that I write it. I joined the TGC community in 2010, the Beta days. Even back then with their modest offerings, their customer service was unmatched. I'll confess that on a few occasions I was a difficult customer, but time and time again TGC provided exceptional, professional customer service and I've always left satisfied. It has been absolutely amazing watching their growth for 10 years, and I know they wouldn't be where they are today without such a passionate group of crafters, superb customer support, and creative and selfless leadership. But beyond their team, their product is top notch. In fact I have run several successful Kickstarter campaigns and in every single one of them TGC has provided top quality components that my backers have loved. In fact, two of my campaigns have benefited from TGC's brilliant BOF system that has made crowdfunding a breeze! I also have to mention how helpful Component Studio has been when designing deck builders, it really is a stellar product. I cannot recommend their services enough, and I hope that my decade long commitment to them provides evidence that what I have said is true. They continue to innovate to make the best games and experiences possible for their customers, and I can sense TGC will continue to grow and prosper for a very, very long time. Now just hurry up on those foil cards! Great job, TGC....

This site/place made my hobby and passion a reality, and continues to foster my imagination with new products and on-going contests. Where other companies (at the time) would only do production runs in the thousands of units, The Game Crafter would do in one-offs; the nature of their print-on-demand system, and their quality of materials makes prototyping easy and affordable. Staff is super-helpful; I've had but one issue with a piece in a game I had ordered, and it was resolved within a few days. As well, they are enveloped and supported by an excellent community of like-minded hobbyists and professionals. Highly recommended to anyone looking to get into the industry of game design and production...

The ordering process was smooth however my biggest issue is the time it takes to get the order we approaching 2weeks and still no cards. Fair TGC expedited the order and shipped in days I paid the premium to have it shipped faster through the postal service but that was a waste of money because still no cards. For a business like me we rely on services like FedEx and UPS for quick delivery I don't think it's wise for you to charge for expedited shipping if you're going to use USPS to ship given covid and election season.

If you're a business and time is an issue I will give strong consideration because their shipping method is severely lethargic.
