Today I completed a online order for pick up for the first time. I ordered 2 subway melt footlong subs. In the instruction area on the order page, I clearly requested to only have my pepper Jack cheese toasted on top of the bacon and meat. My daughter ordered a pepperoni and cheese only sub. We indicated no marinara sauce because my daughter is allergic to tomatoes. My husband drove up to subway to pick up our order. He indicated there was only one person working and no manager or supervisor. When my husband arrived she was already done making 3 sandwiches, 2 of which were footlongs. The girl was in the office area and did not come to the front after realizing someone came into the place. We paid online before picking it up. After my husband arrived at home with the food, I noticed the sandwiches were drenched in mayo, mustard and oil. In addition, the bacon and meat was raw. The cheese was extremely cold. My daughter's sub had marinara sauce on it, although we removed because it could kill her. I was extremely upset and disappointed in the service. I chose this location because I've had great experiences there in the past. However, this time was so disappointing. I called the girl working there and told her that my sandwiches were horrible with raw meat. She made every excuse as to why my food was sloppy and didn't offer a way to rectify the situation. I asked to speak with a manager and she hung up the phone. I chose to drive back up there to speak to her directly and show her the mess of a sandwiches she made. Once again, she didn't even know I was in the place because she was in the office again. Anyone could've came into that place and stolen anything if they wanted to because she didn't care about monitoring the lobby or counter. I had to knock on the table in order to get her attention. I asked her why she felt the need to hang up on me and be so rude. I showed her sandwiches she made and the reason I was upset and she didn't care. I requested my money back and she refused and decided to call the police. I was extremely upset at this point. Two officers arrived and asked me to explain what happened. I expressed how disappointed I was to the bum officers, who decided to be rude and told me I have to file a small claims suite to get a refund. They then requested me to leave without my food and without my money. Read moreI can’t attest to the food quality as it was a pickup for a third-party delivery service, but the customer service left much to be desired. I’ve spent many years in the service industry waiting tables, bar tending, etc. but it’s usually customary to greet any patron when they enter your place of business. Two employees chatted without acknowledging my presence, and then one woman told me she put my order ready for pick up for fifteen minutes out. Confused as to why the delay, I waited patiently in my car and came back in about 12 minutes later. My diner’s delivery time was approaching, and I still didn’t have their food. I asked if the order was ready as the first woman I spoke with rushed out the door. The second employee asked the customers name again, in which the employee then started making the order. Really confused on why it wasn’t started while I was waiting - didn’t smell any bread baking, nothing complicated on the order - but the lack of communication and common courtesy was disappointing. I have a few speculations but will leave it at lack of positive attitude and good work ethic. Read moreThere was a problem with two sandwiches My partner picked up and we could not reach anybody by phone. I came back in the next day still unable to reach anyone by phone however, Arrsun, The guy working there all by himself made me a new sandwich and it was so good when I brought it back I split it with my partner. In fact it was actually so good week We came back and got another sandwich and had another 6 in a piece. This place is way better than the one on Monona drive that's for darn sure. I want to thank the guy working for being so polite and taking care of me without hesitation.
He's all here by himself where Monona drive location has multiple people and they can't even make a sandwich right there or be polite he had this guy's working his butt off by himself and being very charming and polite at the same time. We need more of these guys working and I hope his regional manager knows this guy is definitely management material if he isn't already!
