I usually don’t post reviews for many places whether it would be good or bad but this store and owner absolutely deserves the respect and shout out for having such a great place. This store and owner deliver an excellent experience whether you go in store or buy online. If you buy online, the owner is very quick with responses and the delivery turnaround is quick with very good shipping costs. I do have a few things shipped when I can’t make the trip but going in person is even better.
Right when you walk in the door, the nostalgic feelings just overwhelm you. Such a great collection of games and merchandise to choose from and look through. Great music playing. Greeted with a friendly hello from the owner that is super willing to help and is always ready for any questions you have and will start your purchase pile while you continue to check things off your list or add those goodies that you didn’t know you wanted until you see it on the shelf. If you’re lucky, you may even get greeted by his super friendly and adorable leaders from shipping and customer service.
The shop is very clean, organized and great prices!
I just can’t say enough great things about this store and owner and I could go on and on but please check this place out! You will not regret it!
If you have social media follow his Facebook because he updates it regularly and sometimes will even give deals...
Read moreMy daughter and I stopped in yesterday at VGN (Video Game Nirvana) All I have to say is…… THIS PLACE IS TOTALLY RAD DUDE!!!!!! I’ve been to a lot of Period Toy and gaming stores in my lifetime (born in mid 60’s) so I was a teenager in the 70’s and 80’s when all the technology was being developed with toys, games and computers. My daughter finally saw what I grew up with.
This place has it all….. AND a BONUS……. He has old Apple computers like; Apple I (1976) Apple II (1977) and its variants: Apple II Plus (1979), Apple IIe (1983), Apple IIc (1984), and Apple IIc Plus (1988) Apple III (1980) and its revisions: Apple III Revised (1981), Apple III Plus (1983) Apple Lisa (1983) Macintosh 128K (1984) I would contact the store to confirm availability and inventory.
He even has a working mid 80’s Zenith stereo TV…….. ANYTHING you need for your 70s 80s or 90s Atari, MAC, Odyssey, this guy most likely has it…….. Reasonably priced.
He also has Albums, toys, books and cards along with things like Flintstones beverage glasses. Hell, the only thing I didn’t see was a cooler filled with TAB!!!!!! Get your ass down there and buy the past so you have it...
Read moreBuyers beware. I’m always excited to see a new retro store open in the area. I decided to go check it out and my excitement didn’t last. I noticed they have a lot of bootleg games. Specifically the Pokémon ones and to the untrained eye you’d never even know. I worked at a game store for many years and I’m a hardcore collector. So I’ve come to know what is the real deal and a cheap knockoff. Sadly there were many knockoffs there. They also had a lot of multi game carts which aren’t official either. The cashier kept trying to sell me those. I’m not one for the multi cart stuff either because they’re not official Nintendo/Sega products. He was really trying to get me to buy one which kind of raises a red flag to me. I’m starting to think that they make these in their basement for hardly anything and then sell it to you, the consumer. It’s probably where they make the most money from it or something along those lines. If your into that than good for you but if you’re a true collector and care about the quality of your games than I’d avoid this place. Your going to get nothing but fake and...
